GoogleI am extremely impressed with our experience with Minors & Brady so far and particularly the service from Shania Wright. We had a professional photographer round on Thursday, the contract was signed on Friday and our beautiful bespoke brochure (made by Shania) and online listing was active by the Monday. It's easy to see why Minors & Brady are the go to estate agents in Norfolk.

Please if you have rented the house before don't listed in the website I phone thus agent about 1bed flat for answer the phone and saying is not for viewing I kept asking to put my name for viewing only one answer saying not for viewing when can I phone again answer not for Viewing I have asked my friends to phone was same answer , I said I will phone again next week , the same lady answer the said is fully booked for viewing I told her phoned last week to put my name for renting all she saying sorry is fully booked for Viewing ! Why you listed the house if you got somebody Just not professional and not respectfull don't rent from here unless you know who works there or British born and bread maybe the give chance to view houses for rent. RACIST PEOPLE I HAVE TO SAY .

We had the valuer from minors & Brady out who talked a good talk. They offered a designated viewing team to do all the viewing, a sales team, so when viewings were being done there were staff still in the office, unlike our local estate agent ‘Think’ who he said were shut most of the time, & a progressing team. He said that someone from the office will contact us to arrange to see the property so they know what they are selling, which never happened!He valued the property & suggested marketing £410k to £425k We thought this was a little high so asked him to market for OIEO £395k as we were keen on a sale. He reassured us by saying he would have no problem selling at that price. I asked if the market was quiet he advised it was still really good especially if houses are going on at the right price. As we had dropped his estimated marketing price we were quite hopeful. I advised him we were going away for over 3 weeks so we would only market with them for 8 weeks so wanted an 8 week contract, which wasn’t a problem as he liked a challenge. I also mentioned that we do not want any viewings from anyone that is not on the market as I said we had time wasters last time even someone booking a viewing because they wanted to see my kitchen island. He said that because they do the viewings they wouldn’t want to travel if the purchasers weren’t proceedable either. As he seemed to agree with everything we wanted we went ahead& signed the contracts.We had the photographer out who was fantastic and took some lovely photos and went on the market on 23/08We went through GetAgent who were excellent in updating us with stats. The only update we initially received was when I emailed Minors on the 29/08 when we noticed, despite saying we only wanted an 8 week contract, that he had signed us up for 20 weeks. A staff member rang me back & agreed to what we had originally agreed & gave me some stats which I asked him to email to me, which never happened. We had no viewings whatsoever, despite going on the market below suggested marketing price, so had a phone call on the 13/09 suggesting that we drop our property to offers within £375k to £400k which was a difference of between £25k and £50k in two weeks! We reluctantly agreed to this.I had a phone call on 25/09 to arrange a viewing. I asked what was the purchasers status, bearing in mind they were aware that I did not want any viewings from purchasers that were not on the market. The member of staff said he would just get the purchasers details up, he then informed me of the purchasers address & that he was on the market. I said we couldn’t do the day he suggested as we were due to have furniture delivered & I wasn’t sure what time it was due but we could do any other time or day. I said obviously there is no rush as he hadn’t sold anyway. He went on to say that the purchasers property had a lot of interest & had a lot of viewings booked in so it should be sold quite quickly. I could tell by the way he was flapping when providing me the information that he wasn’t telling me the truth. Despite being assured that they had their own viewing team he asked if I was ok to do the viewing which made me also think that they obviously didn’t want to waste their time doing the viewing. Once I came off the phone I checked on Rightmove and there were no properties in the road he had given me for sale so as I had suspected I had been lied to not only lying by saying the property was on the market but he went on to lie by saying that the purchasers had a lot of interest & a lot of viewings booked in! This was confirmed by another member of staff eventually, who I had to chase, who confirmed that the property was not on the market. They didn’t want to waste their time having to come over & do the viewing but were quite happy for me to waste my time.I raised a complaint to be advised that the member of staff apologised for the ‘miscommunication’ and were quite happy to accept this when blatantly I had been lied to on three occasions by being advised the property was on the market, he had a lot of interest & had a lot of viewings booked in.The service was nothing like what we were sold and if Minors and Brady think that a member of staff can lie further by saying it was a ‘miscommunication’ I certainly would not trust them being left in my property whilst they did the viewings & went out like they suggested so have terminated our contract with themWe have wasted 6 weeks with them and certainly would not recommend them to anyone as they are not trustworthy To add to this I had a phone call from the trainee manager asking me to withdraw this comment as it will affect his promotion, which was obviously more important than having a satisfied customer! He said the chap that lied was from their Castor Office but only covering Dereham. I said the valuer was from Dereham & you also didn’t do what you said you would so refused to withdraw my review

We had a rocky start initially with selling our home with Minors and Brady but once we got to the after sales department Aysegul looked after us amazingly and kept us up to date the whole way through! We are very appreciative for her hard work and dedication to our move. Special thanks to her. Only thing that would’ve been helpful was to be told where water stop cock and electricity meter was as it took us a while to find these and had to make a call.
