Terrible experience with Balgores Basildon. Try and avoid if you possibly can! After viewing a probate property (that had been on the market for months), we instantly put in an offer as first time buyers and didn’t really no what to expect. On the phone we were asked if that was our best and final, even though it was our first offer?! I was very confused and made them aware this is my first offer. Straight away they got me in contact with their solicitors for a quote, so I assumed things looked good! 24 hours went by with no news on my offer, after calling and emailing for FIVE days, I eventually was told it was a third party selling the house on behalf of the vendor… Could they not have told us this in the start to keep us in the loop!?!Another 5 days passed with zero updates and lots of chasing (including increasing our offer to asking price) while THEIR solicitor was ringing me twice a day to see if my offer had been accepted! Absolutely ridiculous and so unprofessional. What a way to get my hopes up too!Eventually after 10 days they asked for my AIP and proof of deposit so I thought things were progressing, only to be told we were basically competing with another buyer, but I was reassured that our name had been put forward to the seller as the preferred buyer and that it’s looking good.Two days later, I received a phone call that the house had been up for sale with another agent and somebody else’s offer had already been accepted. I am SO sure that this property had been sold way before we were told this and they had only just put our offer through to the vendor almost 2 weeks later! Do not trust this company. They then kept this property on Rightmove for a MONTH after it was sold, and when I contacted the other agent who ended up selling the property they assured me the sale was progressing very quickly their end. I had been lead down the garden path and I’m sure many others had been too for the month or more this was kept on Rightmove after sale.Constant bombardment from their solicitors, pushy sales tactics from their mortgage brokers, but absolutely zero contact in regards to the property. Shameful. Please be aware with both buying and selling properties with Balgores Basildon.

He has found us a lovely property and we have just moved in and couldn’t be happier we also spoke to a lovely lady called Daniella who has been really helpful too I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Landlords, Tenants please avoid if you can. Balgores from Loughton and Brentwood are just waste of your time. They are very unprofessional and do not respect you. Starting from the receptionist who is rude and never passes messages or hangs up on you, and finishing on the Property Manager named Daniela Troon who never replies to the emails. Unfortunately to resolve the issue I needed to take a matter to the Property Ombudstman and TDS. I am so glad I do not have to deal with Balgores ever again.

They say that moving house is one of the most stressful things that you can do and we can attest to that with this move! However, if it wasn't for the persistence and efforts from Blagores in Brentwood I'm not sure whether we would have got moved at all. They managed the chain well and it felt at times that things were only progressing because the guys at Balgores were going above and beyond.Massive thanks and would definitely recommend.

What can I say.....truly brilliant experience!!! From the moment I was in contact with Reece and Charisse, their professionalism, efficiency and communication throughout was exceptional. Excellent telephone manner and always on hand to answer my questions. I was always kept abreast of developments with regards to the progress and eventual viewing of the property. I was not disappointed when I eventually saw it. So far, the process has been made less stressful and painfree - all issues associated with moving home. Email communications all done in a timely manner. I have now had the pleasure to meet another member of staff Henry. Henry's telephone manner was professional and his knowledge of the area is second to none describing various key amenities i.e. leisure attractions etc etc - all very helpful to one moving into a new area. I cannot say enough about Reece, Charisse and Henry - all great assets to Balgores Property and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to rent or purchase their home. We have nothing but praise for all the team at Balgores. Over the past few years we have tried to sell our home with other agents to no avail so we thought we would give Balgores a go.We had between 25 and 30 viewers over for weeks and ended up with three potential buyers and a bidding war between two of them.However, that's when Balgores hard work started. We accepted an offer from one of the bidders and were in a chain of six, in the middle of the pandemic with stricter lockdowns on the horizon. The chain almost collapsed when one of the houses in the chain was significantly revalued. Throw in a couple of completely incompetent solicitors and difficulty finding removal companies and, overall, it was very stressful and difficult process.From engaging Balgores to sell the house right through to 'moving day' all the team were extremely polite, hardworking and professional. Many many thanks to everyone at Balgores who we would certainly recommend

I bought a lovely 3 bed semi with my partner. We wanted a home which was close to everything we needed with a fairly big garden for our 3 dogs and parking for 2 cars. Curtis at Balgores was ever so helpful from start to finish, He was available to talk at any point during the day, I know this as I had a panic moment about the price and called him at 8:30pm at home and he was happy to hear from us and gave us all the help and advice we needed. His team at Balgores kept us in the loop with updates about every step of the buying process, something that we’ve not received when using other estate agents in the past. If I look to ever sell my home, il definitely be looking to use Balgores as my agent as I was so impressed with the service.
