Great customer service/care. Me and my partner (First time buyers) brought a house through balgores basildon last week. We were shown around by an estate agent who was great. Very help full. We also went back a few weeks later to do some measuring up, estate agent was great and letting us get on with what we had to do. Sarah is who I dealt with most and she was brilliant. Really helpful on the phone, updating us weekly. Also a big help as it's all new to me guiding me on what's the next step. I would 100% recommend balgores basildon for any one who wishes to buy a house through them as they couldn't do more for you. I am really glad I sold my house with Balgores Agency. At first, I thought they may be so busy that they wouldn’t give me the time I need to sell my house and understand the process as I know they are well known but these weren’t fact just my assumptions. Kish Oogarah was my contact and he was really nice and professional. He got involved until the end of the sale, keeping himself updated on where the sale was at. He gave me a few calls to keep me updated. It was really useful to sell with Balgores and I would recommend it.

GoogleWe recently sold our house through Balgores and the service has been exceptional throughout the whole process. Connor and Jason kept in regular contact with us and worked hard to ensure we had a stream of viewings. During the viewings they showed detailed knowledge of our house, answering any questions viewers might have and offering real insight on the surrounding areas for potential buyers who weren't familiar with Gravesend. Kam the Director was personally involved in the sale once a buyer was found, ensuring everything went through smoothly. We had a difficult chain that many other estate agents would have struggled to manage and yet the team at Balgores dealt with everything swiftly and professionally. The solicitors they recommended were excellent. I cannot fault their service and would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of selling their house in the Gravesend area.

GoogleHave used Balgores to purchase a property and then twice to rent the property out. They have been completely amazing and professional throughout. My most recent time with them - I had some difficulties with a tenant and the letting team was super in providing support and help and going over above their duties to assist and then managed to get a new tenant with minimal turnaround time. Amazing!!! A big thanks to the letting team and in particular thank you Francesca, Joanna and Kam. I have no hesistation to use them again and would definitely recommend.

GoogleI recently sold with Balgores and the experience was great. Lots of viewings from day one and when offers came in they did not try to convince me to take the first one but carried on showing people round which resulted in a higher offer being recieved. They clearly had my best interests at heart which went along way with me. Jason kept me fully updated every step of the way and I never had to chase for information at any point. I used with their recommended solicitors and I was equally empressed with them as I was Balgores with the deal taking less than 7 weeks to go through. Would highly recommend to all friends and family when they need to buy or sell a house.

GoogleThese guys give you a totally new experience of estate agency. The level of professionalism and care is incredible. The amount of times Jason went over and above what was required was simply unreal. He even helped push through the sale of our property, even though we had another agent instructed. Jason actually managed them! He also pushed through the sale of the property we bought as well as managing the successful sale of our buyers.....he literally looked after the entire chain and process. Balgores never missed a call when they promised one, and always answered when you needed them. We could not recommend them highly enough.

GoogleAfter the sale of our house had fallen through, no viewings coming and our dream house slipping away ,we didn't know what to do. A man knocked at the door and handed me an envelope, he was so helpful and offered lots of supporting information. We viewed Balgores feed back , and thought why not. It was the best decision we made. Photos where taken by a lovely lady the following weekend, and we're ready to go live Monday night. By Tuesday we had a viewing booked and Thursday they viewed ,with help from Balgore we accepted asking price on the Saturday. We had been live less than 4 days. From then on the support never stopped . Balgores answer all my questions or would find out the answer. They would check in and update us at least a few times week. We never felt alone. Connor was amazing through it all, and Jason for knocking on our door that day. We now got that dream home and have happily moved in for our first Christmas. We would 100% recommend,Balgores and would use them again. Thank you all so much

GoogleI couldn’t fault Balgores! They have been amazing in what can be one of the most stressful times. These aren’t your usual stereotypical Estate Agents, they are genuinely nice, caring and hard working guys. From day 1 Jason got to know us as a family and how best to promote our house, find houses for us to look at & he was always in constant communication. Even when things fell down for us first time round through no fault of Balgores but the other end, they remained positive, upbeat and determined to get us back on track. Connor has been fantastic too, always providing updates, chasing both sides & doing everything he possibly could to make sure the chain completed. Always friendly always polite always in communication even if there wasn’t good news they were always honest and upfront. They have been like part of our family & I would recommend them every time. GoogleBalgores are an exceptionally professional estate agency. We were impressed from the very start by their tenacious approach to getting our business. This carried on throughout the sale of my house. The photos and marketing brochure were of a very good quality. They were extremely proactive in finding purchasers. We dealt with Connor Murphy, Jason Perry and Andrew Perry, the branch manager, all of whom were outstanding. There was never any time when I felt that I did not have information about viewings or interest being shown. We had frank and open discussions about the marketing of our property all backed up with substantial facts, figures and local knowledge of the market. We were kept apprised of any activity and the staff made contact even when there was no activity to report. The exchange of contracts did not go exactly to plan but Andrew and his staff stayed abreast of all developments and pushed extremely hard to ensure the exchange went as smoothly as possible, again keeping us fully apprised at all times. We felt valued as a customer. Having been on the market with another local agent previously and been disappointed with the service we were delighted to experience the high quality of service that Balgores provided. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Andrew Perry came out and did the initial valuation and explained exactly what we could expect from himself and his team. Within 24hrs photos where done and the property was on the market. Within two days we had our first viewing The viewing 's where handled professionally and timely by Andrew or one of his excellent team. We where undated at every step of the way and Andrew handled every problem we encountered professionally, promptly and without any drama. Throughout the whole process Andrew was professional, Curtis and a pleasure to deal with as where every member of his team. I have no doubt I will recommend Andrew and his team at balgores gravesend to anyone selling or buying property in the area. Comment on agent fees: Fees where extremely competitive

GoogleWe have recently exchanged on the sale of our flat and purchase of a new property, both of which have been through Balgores, Gravesend. We have had a very turbulent time with the whole process but Andrew and his team have been patient and kept us sane especially at times when the frustration of the process got too much. Andrew in particular has gone above and beyond what is expected and cant thank him enough. I would not hesitate to recommend balgores to anyone selling or buying.

GoogleAfter my father died, my mother made the brave decision to sell the family home of 53 years. After engaging a local firm for a few months they only sent a couple of people round and then expected my 83 year mother to show them around the house!! Not being very impressed, we decided that a change in estate agents was needed and engaged Balgores instead, wow what a difference, things moved very quickly and the house was sold within no time. Andrew Perry was out main contact who knows about customer service very considerate of mum all the time not worrying her with the stressful stuff unnecessarily. ALL the staff were very helpful and professional and know the local market. A couple of months after Balgores successfully sold the family home for us, I put mine on the market, and had no doubt who the best agent for the job would be! Again my house was sold in a few weeks, not being a very straight forward sale Andrew and his team still managed it with total professionalism. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone.

Balgores of South Woodham Ferrers were extremely helpful in the selling of my property. Yes they are paid but they seemed to me to go the extra mile. They gave helpful advice on the first visit on how to present the house. They answered all my questions without using 'jargon' and always made me feel that me and my property were very important. Maria helped when it came to filling in forms and keeping me updated with how the sale was going. From my personal experience I would certainly recommend the South Woodham Ferrers branch, nothing was too much for them and they make wonderful tea too. Thanks to Clive, Marie, Lucy and Tom.

Amazing service so professional yet personal. As a lady on my own it was quite daunting but I need not have worried Balgores looked after me and my interests. Richard manages a great team, Kish gives first rate advice so that you are always kept informed at every stage, Kelly assists with many things including the viewings, arranges timings to suit you always with a smile and Louise supported till the end chasing up people when needed. Balgores cover everything from start to finish taking on the stress acting on your behalf all the time. You are always welcome in the shop if you are concerned they listen and understand. TrustpilotYou're paying for the shiny office (Hornchurch Branch)
At first, they were very helpful, but as soon as I went to sign the contract to list my late parents’ house it went down hill from there. The other agents all wanted a commission of 1% for which they would do open days and arrange all the viewings themselves. However, with Balgores, they wouldn’t do such a thing for even 1.1%, so straight away I was getting less than first discussed. They did arrange a lot of viewings, had multiple offers and we settled on what we were told was an offer from a cash buyer. Great, we thought, but then my solicitor contacted the buyer and didn’t hear back. Three weeks passed, so I rang Balgores to contact the solicitor where I was told “after the sale we don’t normally contact anyone” WHAT!!!!! No, you’re an estate agent (that’s what you list yourselves as) and you're my go to if my solicitor can't contact the other solicitor. A couple of days passed and they got hold of him. By this time, the buyers had already broken the Gazeal Agreement, which the buyer got me to sign. I could have quite easily walked away with the £2000 penalty fee.If you try to contact the sale progress team good luck, as out of the 20 plus times I called them they only picked up maybe four times, so always press option one as you have more chance of someone picking up. The longer this went on the less they picked up, so I expect the recognised my number and didn’t answer, as when I withheld my number they did (but this may have been just coincidence). Balgores didn't chase on their own back, I had to chase all the time due to the buyers solicitor not contacting mine. I expect due to the fact I was ‘tied’ into a contract they weren't bothered. I also suspect that the "cash" buyer wasn’t a cash buyer, as three months down the line my solicitor received an email from the buyers stating that due to interest rates increasing by 2% they were hesitant to proceed. Hence, raising my suspicion if this was truly a "cash" buyer!?! It may have been because they were short staffed, but my last estate agent was bad, and these were on par with them, maybe even worse! I would never use these again even if they paid me!!!Also be careful as if you leave the contract by giving the correct notice etc. and you have it listed with another estate agent of the person was first introduced by Balgores they they still want their money. So you could end up paying for 2 commissions
Hi Paul,I am sorry to see the above however I do share your frustations, our version of events are below.We agreed a package with you for the marketing of your home that included Balgores paying for the professional photography, EPC and floor plan.In terms of not contacting anyone after the sale agreed this is certainly not the case, we chase solicitors and parties involved to assist until point of exchange of contracts and completion and our records indicate as such.Regarding the Gazeal agreement, this was not instigated from the buyer it was ourselves and this to give additional protection to the transaction, the buyer paid £600 for this agreement which is non refundable to them and this is to show commitment from both seller and buyer as a penalty fee would be incurred by either side for withdrawing.We have contacted both solicitors on numerous occasions seeking updated and forwarding onto yourself, any contact you have made via phone or email has always endeavored to be returned as quickly as possible.The Buyer evidenced that he was buying cash. In terms of interest rates, a lot of clients go on to re-finance property after purchasing cash to pull their money back out - for this reason the rates would be relevant to them.In relation to the list of viewers that have attended, this is standard practice to send to clients, this is to avoid you being in a position of paying 2 commissions so that you can see who has been introduced by Balgores. Most if not all Estate Agents will do the same to avoid any discrepancies.As a company we have invested in your home and of course are disappointed that it has not proceeded to exchange of contracts, if there is anything we can be of assistance with in the future then please do not hesitate to contact us.Kind Regards,Billy GillArea Director
