Completed today on a house purchase and really pleased with the service received from Kellee and Donna from the Hornchurch branch. Kellee was really efficient and responsive from the outset from arranging the viewings to putting forward my offer. She was great at keeping me posted throughout the entire process and always quick to respond. This was even the case after she moved branches. Donna was also great in progressing the sale and was super responsive too. Moving house is definitely stressful and not everyone is so good at keeping all involved updated and progressing things as quickly as possible, so thanks a lot Kellee and Donna!

Chelmsford branch. I’m astonished by the lack of moral, ethical and professional conduct on display at Balgores. It’s like dealing with children, which is quite difficult when you’re accustomed to working in a professional, regulated industry. Viewing no. 1. We make an offer on behalf of a relative who is chain and mortgage free. We hear nothing back for weeks, despite asking for feedback. Nothing. The property is now presumably sold.Viewing no. 2. My wife, a senior doctor I add, is told that the agent can only organise 4 viewings due to workload. What a joke. The concerning aspect here, is that Balgores will sell your house before you’ve had the chance to receive bids from entire opportunity set. There is clearly no best execution policy here - more of policy of laziness and slack conduct. Jeez. I’d love to see one of these fools working alongside me in an investment bank. They wouldn’t last a day. Do not market your house with Balgores.

I wanted to share my recent experience with Balgores, Dagenham . I am a prospective buyer and have personal mortgage advisor . I made an offer with valid AIP (Agreement in Principle from Bank) + source of funds, They forced me to see thier own mortgage advisor irrespective citing that it is thier norm to ask all the buyer to go through thier mortgae advisor for financial verification . I asked to send their policy document relating to this but never recieved reply . Also they confirmed that offer has been forwarded but the seller confimed that they did not inform them when i went for 2nd viewing. I have dealt with other high street Estate Agents and nobody have asked to see thier mortgage advisior if i declined to . May i suggest 1. Please dont force prospective buyers to see your mortgae advisor if they dont want to and have Valid AIP + source of funds document 2. If it is your policy make it more transparent by mentioning in the Brochure whilst advertising a property .

She has sent every email and made every phone call needed to ensure the exchange happened. Being ‘kept in the loop’ meant a lot to us and we definitely were! I honestly cannot recommend Peter and Claire and Balgores enough! Nothing was too much trouble, no question was too silly to ask and they were there for us 24/7 throughout our moving process. GoogleFrom the first contact Balgores were helpful, gave lots of information so we decided to go with them to sell our house. Once the house was on the market we got lots of viewings but the communication was terrible, often we wouldn't know timings as we were told different things by different people. There were also 2 occasions where we had 2 viewings that weren't booked but luckily someone was in to show them around. Balgores were unaware of these viewings, but they turned up on the right day and around the right time so someone must've given them the information but it never got to us. It took nearly 4 months to sell our house despite around 30 viewings so we feel like the agent who showed the potential buyers around was not putting their best effort in. On the viewing we received an offer, I was the one to show the buyer around due to the original agent having COVID, so I feel like I did their job for them. We were also disappointed with some of the communication we received from Balgores which came across condescending at times. For example, we tried to negotiate a reduced fee, which we thought was fair considering we reduced the sale price by around 10%, we received a long email stating why it was a ridiculous idea and that we were "de-valuing" their roles. We understand this is quite a commission heavy job but we were out of our contract terms at this point and were looking to change agents, the only reason we didn't change agents is because I sold the house a couple of days later. Another example of this is when we were trying to arrange completion dates, I didn't feel listened to as both ourselves, our buyer and our seller could not do certain dates but this fell on deaf ears. Overall, the house got sold which is the main objective but in hindsight we should have gone elsewhere.

She knew exactly what we were looking for and we are over the moon with the house she found for us. The process was super quick and easy to follow. When things looked bad, Frank was straight there and gave his professional opinion and did his upmost best to make sure that we were always contacted whether the news is good or bad. I recently let a property with Balgores lettings Upminster. Chris Ping visited the property early in the afternoon and was most helpful. Within a couple of hours Chris had put the house on Rightmove. By 5pm that same day Reece Woodhall was showing the property to prospective tenants and within twenty four hours from Chris initial visit to the property Reece had secured a tenant. The entire process was made very easy by Reece, a very likeable professional competent and knowledgeable young man, who kept me informed throughout every step of the process, nothing was too much trouble for him. The tenant moved into the property two weeks after it was first marketed. The service that I received was excellent.

From the start Peter and his team were just great. Pete clearly has a lot of knowledge and experience in the industry and gave us all possible scenarios for our mortgage needs. Providing the most appropriate advice for our case. We found a property at very short notice and needed Pete to secure a mortgage in principle quite quickly but he managed to do this with ease. When this expired due to how long the process was taking Pete quickly extended this for us. I built a really good relationship with him along the way too. And would seek advice for other financial matters. Pete even helped to secure our buildings insurance. Nothing was too much hassle. Claire was also great in assisting with ensuring everything was moving along smoothly and would follow up with solicitors as required. Thank you so much for all your help to secure our dream property.

We recently sold our house with Balgores Basildon. Nyall headed up the sale of our house and was brilliant very friendly, fair, knowledgeable and nothing too much trouble. Our house sold within days thanks to Josh hunt who found the perfect buyer us. The star of the show had to be Sarah Oakley Who progressed and completed our case. She is was proactive and kept in communication at all times with us. Noting ever too much trouble and we feel like she went above and beyond for us. Overall a smooth transition and would definitely recommend them. Once again thanks for all your efforts team.

Donna Hickey was so so helpful in the purchase of our house we have had a few complications and I don’t think I could of got though it with out her. She was the only one that was communicating with me and keeping me updated with what was doing on I would email her and with in minutes she would email me back with a update and would put my mind as rest that it’s being dealt with nothing was too much trouble and I’m so grateful to her for everything she had done for us and to get us over the line so that house then became ours
