Mortgage Broker: Michael Gibbon

Our experience with Michael Gibbon was faultless. He went above and beyond to explain every step of the process and provide alternative options, it really felt like he cared about us and wanted to get the best deal possible to suit our needs. As first time buyers Michael guided us through the process step by step.He informed us of when to do each step so we wouldn't lose out on any money. Michael even contacted us on his day off as interest rates were rising and he wanted us to secure the lower deal. He keeps us up to date with any decreases so we can move over to lower rates before signing our contract. I would recommend Michael to anyone looking to buy a house as he made the experience stress free and we felt supported throughout (even after the mortgage offer). We want to thank Michael and his team for everything.

Can’t recommend Paul Young enough

Can’t recommend Paul Young enough! He was brilliant in sorting mine and my partners life insurance, health insurance, income protection and everything inbetween. We found it really helpful to be able to talk to Paul on the phone and he talked us through everything we needed to know in a way we understood. He definitely got us the best policy for us and our needs and also took all the hard work and stress out of it. I’ve already recommend him to family members and they had the same excellent service. Paul, Dan, Lucy, Sarah and Ross (Basildon & Wickford) were all excellent in our recent sale and purchase. It was a fairly complex case but everyone was absolute superstars and helped us from beginning to end. Dan, Sarah and Ross were fantastic with the lots of queries we had and always keeping us updated. A small, intimate estate agents with just one office and six desks. On the right is the brilliant sales team and on the left the property management people. To the back is the store room where the dog treats are kept. Very easy to communicate with everyone as the right hand (side) knows what the left hand (side) is doing and there is never a time when you are left wondering if they actually know who you are and which property you are selling/letting. This is very important in my opinion and key to why they are so successful. They manage a rental property for me with efficiency and thoroughness and recently sold a house in a record 66 days from first advertising to completion. Their knowledge of the local market is excellent and they have good relationships with all the solicitors in the town (for selling) and many tradespeople for prompt repairs when letting. These are serious advantages when deciding to employ their services.

I have been dealing with Balgores Dagenham and have to say that every team member there have been wonderful, specifically I was impressed by their patience with me as a client even after I had to reschedule the viewings several times. I also would like to especially thank Ali, who is a mortgage advisor associated with the branch. He has gone above and beyond his role and been very responsive whenever I've had queries. Buying a property is one of the most stressful experiences! So having great advice and what felt like a very personal service made it more bearable. I cannot recommend Peter Walker enough, he was down to earth and made me chuckle every time I spoke to him. He chased solicitors, conversed with the estate agents on my behalf and more. I could not recommend Peter walker and Claire Dartnell any more!! Both absolutely amazing to work with. I was a first time buyer so had untold amounts of questions and took me slightly longer to understand, but the patience from Peter to explain over and over again but to also ensure that I did fully understand. He took massive amounts of work off my hands by communicating with my solicitor, seller solicitor and the estate agents and was super productive. They actually made my move journey enjoyable and I just want to thank them both again!!!
