My experience with this estate agent has been nothing short of dreadful. After renting and residing in a property for over 5 years, the ordeal we faced upon departure was disheartening. Upon moving into the property, it was in a deplorable condition. Despite our diligent efforts in maintaining it throughout the years, the estate agent and landlord failed to acknowledge our contributions. Upon vacating, we were shocked to find the estate agent supporting the landlord in unjustly deducting unnecessary repair costs from our deposit. Attempts to address the matter directly with the estate agent proved futile as they disregarded our concerns despite our longstanding tenure with them. Frustrated and feeling unjustly treated, we were compelled to escalate the issue to the deposit scheme for resolution. Thankfully, the deposit scheme ruled in our favor, acknowledging the unfair deductions and rightfully returning a portion of our deposit. I urge extreme caution when considering engaging with this estate agent. Our unfortunate experience serves as a stark reminder of the importance of thorough scrutiny and vigilance in such matters. Proceed with caution.
