FacebookAs a first time buyer on my own it was extremely nerve wracking, however Fiona and Chloe made the whole experience so calm and very smooth. I cannot recommend them enough.

GoogleWe went to McArthur Scott to see if they could help us get a mortgage with myself being self employed. Expecting the usual barriers as I've had before I wasn't expecting it to be easy. Fast forward not a lot of time later a mortgage in principle was in place then we found a house we loved and managed to buy it with not one problem at all. I would highly recommend the team at Mcarthur Scott, they really did make the whole process simple and easy for us.

FacebookThe McArthur Team 🫡⭐️🖤 From the moment ( which felt like the quickest friendship ever developed lol ) I felt at ease ( and they takes a lot for me) From the second I phoned ( and it happened within a few hours) and being a first time buyer I felt supported, listened to no matter how many times I panicked or what questions I needed answered. I love there process, how they communicate and just their relationships and who they are as people. If I wasn’t in the job I was in - you would want to be here. Soon as you walk into the building you feel welcomed and you feel like you’ve known them all for years. This team truly wants to see the best outcome for their customers which is clear from their atmosphere. I was concerned it was gonna be that “business way” how people tell you these things go. This family tells you exactly what’s happening and there’s nothing hidden and they keep you right every step of the way. I couldn’t recommend them enough to everyone if you want people that are down to earth and passionate about what they do while truly wanting the best outcomes for their customers.

FacebookExcellent service from Fiona and her team. Very easy process, all requirements/expectations explained at the offset, great communications and the photographs are unbelievable. Process of selling my home was simplified due to McArthur Scott’s ownership of the process and ability to deal with my basic (and sometimes stupid!) questions. Always felt I could contact at any time and they were available. Would 100% recommend and will definitely use and recommend McArthur Scott in the future.

FacebookMy chronically ill and disabled mother lives below a rental property managed by McArthur Scott. Their tenant has flooded my mother twice. Despite having reported the continued leak on 12th February, it wasn’t actually rectified until 27th February when the work was concluded. During this time, the water was pouring through the ceiling and ceiling light in the bathroom. I emailed them and explained that my mother was having to try to navigate around her bathroom with her sticks, in the dark and with a slippery floor and I was concerned that she would be injured. Despite this, their tenant remained in the property using their shower daily and continued to flood my mother. When the work was finally carried out and finished on the 27th February, I asked them what they were going to do to right the ceiling paintwork in both the bathroom and the living room where the previous leak was. Their reply was “In relation to the paintwork in the areas you mentioned, our landlord has confirmed they are not willing to contribute to any costs in relation to this as a result of this accidental damage.” They will be taken to Greenock Sheriff Court for the costs associated with putting the damage right and the costs associated with bringing the action and serving and executing the order. In the work I’ve done over the last 18 years, I’ve assisted a multitude of clients across a number of different areas but I have yet to encounter a landlord like McArthur Scott who seems to believe that they can simply opt out of their liabilities in this way. The fact they opted not to minimise the damage being caused by turning off the water and moving their tenant out to a hotel or another property they manage, just speaks to their arrogance and contempt. If you are looking for a management agent or landlord agent who acts fairly with integrity and respect, look elsewhere.
