I have been with 4 different letting agents and have never experienced such greed. They will squeeze every penny out of you at every opportunity.. I wish to warn people away from taking out a tenancy with them. I feel like leaving my property to save myself some money.. buts that's probably what they want so they can get a little more from the landlord and I'll probably get charged an exit fee somehow!! Go with anyone else!! Any others I've never had a problem with! the staff themselves are okay...but whoever owns the company is a greedy so and so!

Absolutely brilliant Lettings agency, easy to contact and always happy to help when needed! Our property manager Sarah Fisher is wonderful, so helpful and friendly! Nothing is ever too much trouble and always replies quickly to any queries we may have. Would definitely recommend!

We moved into out rented house last July there were very helpful when we first moved all was well in the new house. As we moved in the did not say that a dog before had damage a lot of the kitchen including the oven which we could not use for 2 weeks and the washing machine was broken as soon as we moved in. The first lady we had assigned to us for the house was great every need we had she managed to fix very quickly. As time went out the agency got very laps in there response to anything that needed to be upgraded in the house or any questions we may of had.We wanted to buy our own house so our landlord very kindly let us out of our contract and found someone to cover the rest of the contract and new to rent to. We had many troubles with this!!!!!! we were not told any of the 'little' bits in the contracted the agency had decided to leave out, We were not told that the rented house would be our responsibility if the new tenants did not move in obviously that would be a great financial struggle to us. We also agree to pay for the first week of the month we would not be in there as the new tenants were not moving in until part was through the month. The amount was agreed and then when they took the money out our account it was the full rent amount and made us struggle to make our first mortgage payment!. NONE of this was explained to us when we agreed to the weeks rent we would pay. When i went into the store in Gloucester to give in the keys i wanted to speak to someone about when the money would be returned to us as we needed it to make payments to our new house the receptionist was very helpful and went to find someone who could tell me when the money would come back to me. As i was sat in the reception i heard the conversation between the receptionist and the lady dealing with our house she spoke about it very rudely and then realised i was sat in reception and did not bother to come out and sort it out just popped her head around the corner and said she would email my partner and that they had spoken on the phone. She was very unclear on the phone to my partner and couldn't do anything to sort our money situation out until the new people had moved in. Despite all of this happening they tried to blame our puppy for miss use of the house when the old puppy from the tenants before had wrecked the house!!!! They just want money if im honest and would not recommend them at all!!! From our experience with this letting agency the landlord was great and very helpful but the letting agency was rude and unprofessional.

We were looking for a place to rent near workplace. When we were viewing first property with Nia she was very helpful and even though we couldn't rent that one Nia suggested two other that we may want to have a look and we decided to rent one of them. We lived there for over 2 years and had no problems whatsoever. Leaving the property was nice and easy. Got whole deposit back as well. We heard some negative opinions but as far as we are concerned can't say anything against Surelet. Would definately recommend...Cheers

I've not had much dealings with any other lettings agent only Surelet. But that says a lot in itself. They have managed the last 2 properties I've lived in and although there were substantial problems with the boiler in the first property, they were always sympathetic to my predicament and handled the situation very professionally, even when I went off on one! The main problem was with the landlord being slow to respond to their repeated requests for his maintenance team to go in and sort the problem. I was a good tenant and they acknowledged this frequently so thank you for that! It did cost me a lot in fees, etc, to move into my 2nd property and there were unexpected costs but I guess laws and regulations had moved on since I moved into the first property. On the whole, though, I would recommend Surelet to any prospective landlord or tenant.

Agree with other reviews that their service is friendly and generally efficient (esp Steph). BUT: I found that when I discussed leaving them in order to run my property myself they wanted to charge me a £250 fee just to leave (for what service? Just punitive?). It was no doubt in the small print, but given I've been with them for almost 10 years (and a very easy landlord to handle), I was surprised they were prepared to stick to this punitive fee. Especially in light of the fact that I would need management support in the future. Am still likely to leave, and am angry enough that I will be looking for someone else to manage my property in future. Hence the 3 stars. Sorry Sure Lettings - you haven't covered yourselves in glory on this one.

I was new in the UK and trying to find accommodation was a nightmare for me as I was calling and requesting call backs from adverts and most agents never called me back. When I came across a sure lettings ad I asked to be called back and a guy named Tom called me within a day and set up a viewing arrangement that best suited my time as I was busy with work. I am their new tenant now and I have never been this happy my place is clean and it was painted, I wouldn't ask for more. Sure lettings they are reliable, attentive and you get what you want.

As it stands, Sarah is the only person that I would rather have as a main contact regarding the accommodation/rent.
