Ross Yates at Yates Hellier helped us sell our house in North Kelvinside. He was first rate. I don't think you could get a better service. His approach was very kind, supportive and throughly professional. The fees were similar to what other estate agents were charging. He gave very good and detailed advice about getting the house ready for viewings. His service is unique in that he takes responsibility for the whole process. He personally dealt with every potential buyer showing them around the house and chasing up answers to any questions they may have. (The bigger estate agents tend not to do this).Even after it was sold (very quickly) he maintained contact with the buyers and ourselves through the process with exchange of missives to check there were no snags. His background as a surveyor meant he could easily reassure about any questions we had. We would give him a 6 star review if we could!

Yates Hellier are a letting agency who are direct and simple to deal with. 95% of the issues we have raised have been dealt with promptly, as they send over a workman to fix the problem. They do regular inspections ensuring the flat is in good condition, but also as an oppurtunity for us to raise issues. occasionaly things we have mentioned in person have fallen through the cracks, but mostly dealt with when reminded in an email.

Until very recently myself and my partner had been tenants for several years in not one but two properties managed by Yates Hellier and it was an absolute pleasure! The whole team was extremely helpful throughout the entire time we were living in the properties and were always quick to respond to any issues. Jonny and William in particular were amazing - both went above and beyond with any queries we had and were incredibly friendly. Yates Hellier was personally recommended to me as being extremely knowledgeable of the West end housing market. They did not disappoint. Ross came round withing 48hrs to talk me though the process on how to achive the best outcome and provided useful tips on how to improve the look of our flat. The process was very straightforward, Ross and Natalie gave us frequent daily updates and were both extremely friendly and professional and felt all of their focus was entirely on the sale of our flat. We sold at closing date soon after and were extremely happy with the outcome. I have and will continue to recommend them in future.

With the market moving so quickly we were unsure how best to market our property and time the sale but Ross provided excellent advice and put our minds at ease. My partner and I knew that we wanted Yates Hellier to handle the sale of our three bed property in Hyndland as soon as Ross visited us for a valuation. His level of knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for property sales far surpassed that of anyone else we had spoken to. He was able to provide us with an extremely detailed and perceptive insight into our flat, the area and our type of prospective buyer that showed he was clearly the most capable of selling our flat. The level of care and professionalism shown by the entire team at Yates Hellier was also impeccable. This was important to me as having spent a long time house hunting myself in an extremely competitive market, I knew how tiring and demoralising it could become and I really appreciated knowing that our sale was being handled by a team who would treat any prospective buyers with respect, attentiveness and professionalism. Going to market was easy, and the video in particular looked brilliant - subtle details like the music choice in the video were really stylish. Before viewings started, Ross took the time to really get to know the flat and I felt secure in the knowledge that our viewers would be receiving a high level of service where their questions would be answered and they’d feel good about the viewing. This is exactly what happened, and as a result we had a lot of genuine interest, with the flat going to closing date quickly with multiple offers on the table. Yates Hellier worked incredibly hard and they were so attentive to us. I honestly cannot fault the level of service they provided and I really appreciate all the help and advice they gave us. They were not the most expensive estate agent we’ve worked with but they were undoubtedly the best. I’ve gone on to recommended them to others looking to sell and I know they’ve been really impressed by them too. If we sell again, I’ll undoubtedly be in touch - thank you again!

The staff in Yates Hellier are fantastic, and I would give them more than 5 stars if there is such an option! They know what they are doing, and have that personal touch as well. I have just vacated from a lovely one bed room property in the West End (to move to a larger 2 bed room property) and have been with Yates Hellier since 2019. From Ross initial welcome and showing me round the apartment when I viewed it and when I first moved in; and to William for all his help. Also can't forget Jonny who is ever on hand to help with any maintenance related issues. They are supremely professional and I highly recommend them!
