We've lived in a property rented to us by Slater Hogg & Howison since 2018. Over this time we've trying to get damp and mould fixed but no joy. The people at Slater Hogg & Howison come to do a property inspection each time they photograph the damp and mould and say they'll get it fixed but don't. We've made countless complaints and raised the issues with the Property Ombudsman. A few weeks ago they sent out contractors to do a quote on fixing the black mould and damp, I'm heavily pregnant so would've liked the issues fixed before my baby is due to be born at the start of June but instead they've continually lied to us and now we've had sheriffs officers come to the door issuing an eviction notice to a heavily pregnant woman, no warning when my husband emailed for an updated on repairs on Monday, no email inadvance to say your landlord 'intends' to sell the property in July. We've been great tenants even though they've treated us badly, paid rent, each time we've had a property inspection they say how well we keep the place- and this is how they treat us. It's awful and extremely cruel. I do not recommend renting from them.

Called up to enquire about a flat and the pet policy. The woman i spoke to immediately became confrontational when i said i had cats. Refused to make an enquiry with the land lord then hung up on me. Its hard enough finding a suitable place to live with everything being so expensive without letting agents being downright disrespectful.

Concerns Regarding Unfair Practice and Property Sale I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the unfair practice that this company has recently encountered. I had traveled from London with the intention of viewing the property located at 12 Drygate. Upon my arrival last Friday, I discovered that there was already a lady present in the property. We respectfully viewed the premises before leaving. Immediately following the viewing( before the lady leaving the property), I contacted their office and submitted an offer , arranging to meet on Monday for further discussion. To my dismay, today, when I visited their office, I was informed that the property had been sold on the same day as the viewing, despite my offer being higher than the one accepted. This situation has left me feeling deeply upset and has raised concerns about their impartiality in favoring certain clients over others. In all honesty, since the day of the viewing (Friday), I sensed something unusual when the lady remained in the property until we departed. I believe it is crucial to bring this matter to their attention to ensure transparency and fairness within your organization.

A had a lovely checkin process for my flat last September, but the move out process has been extremely unprofessional and disappointing. As a first time buyer with very little knowledge of how the processes worked, I couldn't recommend Susanne Mclaughlan from Slater Hogg Mortgages enough.
