GoogleI have recently sold my flat using Countrywide as estate agents and from the first contact to the final deal they were first class. The staff were helpful, friendly and courteous and managed to put my mind at ease knowing that they were on side. At no point did I feel under any pressure or that I was losing control.

GoogleAvoid at all cost. They didn't have a clue what was going on at our flat. Their inventory was out of date, charge us for work that hadn't been carried out. Took months to return send part of deposit after tenant left with rent outstanding and deducted cleaning cost but left the flat dirty. I could go on!

GoogleI had a great experience using Countrywide. The process was very easy and they have perfectly understood my needs and accommodated them in order to allow me to move in by the required date and Madeline in particular has been incredibly responsive, making sure any issues got resolved promptly.

GooglePlease do something, anything to stop the loud noises coming from your tenant's in flat 2/1, 22 Grierson St, Friday 1st Sept from 8pm onward the thumping noise of DRUMS and then singing coming through the walls is appalling. We are not used to such anti-social activity within this area Countrywide Scotland.

FacebookWould not recommend at all. Have been left on a Friday night with a property that I cannot sleep in. I reported first thing today that the smoke alarm was constantly going off and would not turn off. Chased the repair after lunchtime, it had not even been looked at. I chased this 3/4 times before 5pm. I got promised calls back, never happened. I got an email to advise that an electrician would be in touch, I called the electrician and he never received a works order. I asked for an emergency electrician, I was refused. Said I would just need to wait until Monday. The staff member didn’t seem interested at all in helping me. I asked to speak to a manager, I was refused. This is not the first issue with countrywide and I am very dissatisfied with their service.

GooglePosted on behalf of our client..... "I sold my modern property in the New Gorbals area through Countrywide Merchant City and I was delighted with their friendly but professional service ! We got a couple of proposals from estate agents however Paul Manson stood out , he was professional , understanding , down to earth and ‘ got the flat ‘ as well as really knowing the local market place and felt confident dealing with him . Once our property was on the market , Yvonne our contact was fantastic ! Great service , phoned when she said she would phone , kept us updated daily , listened with empathy when I had concerns and overall a friendly , positive person ! I would not hesitate to using the services of Countrywide Merchant City again Best wishes Caroline O’Donnell"
