Showed interest in a property for sale, with board outside only after we put a bid in we were told it was auction of which lovelle agency pocketed 5k through their auction front Patinsons. No way will I accept a change to auction again like this it is not the behaviour one expects. Very poor. Having reviewed the response from lovelle director i can now confirm that the 5000 pound plus 1000 pound vat were real as shown on the invoice sent to me and copied to them by their pattinsons colleagues. However if this is incorrect as they say send the money back to me. Their brochure and listing mention nothing about auction neither does it inform of potential extra fees. Only in their contract received after our bid shows this . The orginal bid was outbid by 500.00 i asked where did this bid come from the answer was from another site. Which I found spurious. Not enough transparency. When i stated that if by 12noon on day of close our bid was not accepted or outbid we would not bid again. Full stop . The mysterious counter bidder suddenly vanished. Again warning bells. Their auction process is not for me it rings to many warning bells. Not enough transparency. Further to this the property transaction was lacking a document to make it a clean sale. So how can you sell a property which is not in a package ready to be sold if it was an oversight, why? This reeks of amatuerism if not bad practice. Further to Lovelles response of using my email to Bayley dated at a very early stage, in the process and was pre the problems that were realised using this email as a form of defence is a very poor and now i realise typical form by Lovelles response to a credible complaint.

Thank you for your help and support during the sale of our property, and purchase of our new property. Nothing was too much trouble and I loved knowing I would be getting an update every Tuesday. Our property sold within a week of marketing and Bayley was proactive in helping us to find our next property. Thank you to Naomi for your hard work over the last few weeks too, and for still getting us to completion despite the complications thrown at us due to covid-19. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lovelle, who couldn’t do enough for us, especially after compared to our experience of trying to sell with another agent last year.

Bayley who works here at the Gainsborough Branch has shown myself and my disabled mum around a house a few days ago! Although she was struggling he was so supportive and helped both of us to see the house and look round at ease! He told us so much information when asking questions and Lovelle even followed up with a call to see if everything was okay. It was a very top customer service and I cannot fault them in anyway! We both want to thank Bayley for his help and his kind actions in the viewing! Highly recommend!!

Lovelle are AMAZING!! They strived to sell our property and made us stick with it when we considered coming off the market. Then they helped find us our beautiful new home. From beginning to end the team at Lovelle in Gainsborough were fantastic. As first time buyers the process can be quite overwhelming at times however the team at Lovelle made the move really straightforward and quick. Kept us in the loop with what was happening on a regular basis and made sure we were always kept informed towards the end of the process in regards to exchange and completion. Special mention to Georgia, Bayley and Molly who were all super helpful whether it was viewing the property or keeping us informed couldn???t have been more friendly and professional. Naomi made everything clear and very easy to understand the whole time we were dealing with her.
