A big THANK YOU to Phil Simpson , from the Burnley branch ,he listened to me twittering on about our concerns , disappointments and insecurities renting our home , he didn't rush us , he checked the house then explained clearly to husband and me what he thought best for us , he would also talk to our landlord which he did then rang us back to let us know what the landlord had said . Apartment Purchase in Eccles

We recently purchased an apartment in Eccles, via Reeds Rains, Salford Quays. For various reasons (nothing to do with Reeds Rains), the purchase took over 9 months to complete. Throughout this time Laura was extremely helpful, both in enabling us to visit the property on several occasions, and also in chasing up the seller, when it seemed that both sets of solicitors were just letting things slip. Without her help, I can't help thinking the process would have taken more than 9 months.

First home

When having a look for a first time home, me & my partner were a bit lost, trying to think of what all our outgoings, new build or old build & were I would stand with gaining a new job, We were put through to Peter & he made us so comfortable straight away and went through everything step by step and spent time making sure we would know everything before buying a house. What should we do and what shouldn’t we do. Eg what’s negative to a bank on a bank statement/ credit cards ect, He made sure we understood and how to improve this to get more lenders to accept, Peter made sure we understood that not many banks would lend as I had a career change and once my probation period is over I would have a lot more chance. We have decided to wait abit longer and get back in touch with Peter when we are ready to buy, hopefully end of summer. We didn’t feel pushed or rushed, & he advised us if we saved a bit more the price of our house can increase so we would have more choice, overall Peter was super helpful, and we can’t wait to work with him, and for him to help us buy our first home come this autumn 😊Thanks Larisse

We were so impressed with Reeds Rains Estate Agents. We were really pleased with the service Adam and Laura provided they were allways on hand to answer any phone calls and query's any time. They were great in getting my sale over the line. Adam and the Reeds team, could not have been more helpful or hard working than they were. We had 3 estate agents to come round and view our property and I instantly knew the good estate agent were going to be the team to get us the most money for our property & his knowledge of the Folkestone area was incredibly reassuring. On the day of our open house, Adam managed to get over 15 viewings and the next day we had 3 offers on the table for £20,000 more than the other 2 agents had told us we would get for it. I honestly cannot fault the team and I’ll make sure all of my friends and family use Adam and the Reeds estate agent to sell their houses. He and his colleagues made the whole process very straightforward and were available to help the entire time.

If I could rate 0 stars I would... sending emails that took weeks to get a reply or no reply at all, fast to take money for properties but couldn't be any slower to deal with issues. Reported multiple issues multiple times including blocked pipework that flooded the property that took 3 months to get a reply on after visiting the branch! Would not recommend this company, made my living experience horrendous! I could sit here all day and post about the quite frankly useless lettings agents but I've got better things to do. As I can't respond to the previous, I'm shocked they have no record of me existing... 223 cheriton road, the flat that needed a new roof for about 3 years that leaked masses of water every time it rained and when it was fixed the works made a mess of my internal structure cracked most the walls and this was all just left for over a year until I had enough and moved out with it still looking the same. Water damage caused all the paint to come off the walls constantly covering my entire bedroom anytime i had the window open meaning I had to strip strip the lose bits off and cover it in lining paper just to stop my bedroom becoming a mess!

Lack of concern for Tenants and poor service

I rent a property through Reeds Rains in Blackpool. We have suffered over 8 years from poor responses for jobs to be completed and the landlord informed. Most recently my bedroom window which will not close properly was reported in July during a house check.After a number of emails someone came to get a quote for the landlord 23/08/23. Since then we have continued to regularly ask when the work is being done. Yesterday I went into the office has it is now getting colder and it is becoming a bigger issue. I was told that a different company will give a quote but not when this will happen. I feel that tenants are not treated with respect or importance by this company.

Salford Quays branch - A pillar of support

Thanks to the wonderful sales team at the Salford Quays branch, we completed our first-time home purchase.Because of my own mistake, the purchase took longer than normal. However, our sales agent Laura had been caring and professional throughout the process. She did a good job resolving conflicts between the buyer and the seller. No matter how petty the issue is, she listens, reassures me and follows up properly. Especially as a first-time buyer, I could’t thank her enough for her effort and insights. The whole process with the Agent was easy and straightforward, I was updated with all viewing appointments and provided with feedback after every viewing. What a great team - over the last few years ( 3 at least ) I’ve used Reeds Raine for my rental properties and the sale of my home. Reeds Rain York branch avoid at all costs whether a landlord or tenant. Terrible customer service, lied to on multiple occasions, they will attempt to milk fees from commissions on maintenance work the tenant hasn't requested. They are now refusing to return the tenants deposit where there is a dispute between Reeds Rain and the landlord (I.e nothing to do with the tenant). Tenants beware....!

What can be one of the most stressful events in life, selling a house and moving home was made much easier with the help of the staff at Reeds Rains (Bamber Bridge)Their expertise and advice was invaluable, from getting the house valued and on the market, to organising viewings and working with the solicitors and buyers as the sale progressed. Reeds rains is the worst estate agency…

Reeds rains is the worst estate agency I have come across. I had a viewing on one of their property to rent in Eccles new road and I have send our interest on that property and they said they will let me know about landlord’s decision. I made 2 phone calls in one week period after seeing no response from the agency. They were very rude over the phone and were not approachable at all. They asked me to wait for their email to get the update. Even after more than a week, my husband rang them today on 26th September 2023 to get an update, they said the property has been given to other people. They made us to wait for their update more than a week , very rude over the phone and not given any update. I won’t recommend this agency to any of my friends.
