Zoopla is great keeping me informed straight away of houses available to rent - however I would like to see either the opportunity to put in more than one area or the opportunity to state which area I definitely don’t want to live in. I want to live in Nantwich, Shavington, Willaston, etc but don’t want to live in Crewe but I have to enter the mileage so I receive lots of unnecessary emails for Crewe 🤷🏻‍♀️

Zoopla is great most of the time

Zoopla is great most of the time, i find after filling in the preferences, like rent and area, both ok but then i'm looking for £450pm the nearest one to that is £500, but i keep getting houses for £6/7/800 just ridiculous really, then the bedrooms not 1, 2, 3, but 1+ 2+ 3+ so i go for 1+ and get offered 3/4 bedrooms when i only want 2 beds, apart from that there is some nice places.

Little to comment except lack of suggested reasons for property drastic price drop

Little to comment, except REASONS for property prices fluctuating not always clear, certainly in the case of Eastbourne recorded a 10.4 per cent fall in average house prices between July 2024 and July 2025, the largest drop of any area in England.

Hi Angus, Thanks so much for leaving us a 4 star review. We're happy to hear you are pleased with our service and we hope Zoopla continues to be useful for you in all things property related. The Zoopla house price estimate is based on data fed through an automated valuation model (AVM), which analyses property information on all 29 million UK homes on a continuous basis. Our data comes from multiple sources based on a number of data points relating to property sales, values and home characteristics throughout the UK, including publicly available data such as that from HM Land Registry and Registers of Scotland. The accuracy of Zoopla estimates is influenced by a number of factors such as the current market values of homes, the quality of the information available on the given property and the availability of comparable properties in the area. This means that unique properties or those where the housing market is slower, may experience less accurate estimates. We receive new data all the time and above-average variations will be largely a result of changing property characteristics and the comparability of the property to the local market. Therefore, discrepancies and/or increases or decreases such as you have outlined are not unusual. Here is a Help Centre article that will give you more information on where we get our data from: https://help.zoopla.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360005677897 Many thanks, Zoopla Support

Very Poor Service

Only got a 1 because I can’t give 0. Several emails following almost £70k spent on the house plus a valuation from an estate agent over £60k above Zoopla’s estimate. Their argument is “it’s a guide” …… but it’s a guide used by buyers to drive a price down. Then they remove the price but state their algorithm won’t allow them to update it for months, even with a national estate agents valuation. Are Zoopla trying to control prices? They certainly need a regulatory body have a good look at their… “algorithms”Edit Never got a private message from Zoopla as they said below. I did however look at a house for sale. It sold in June 2023. According to Zoopla it’s increased in price by 67% since. In 17 months??? Now Zoopla state they do not take modernisation into account so someone isn’t being honest.Time to inform the ombudsman I think.

Zoopla underprice our property, even when the prices were high. Now their prices have dropped even more and they haven’t valued the property. Their valuations are incorrect. I would not trust them at all.

Incredibly inaccurate website both on house details and value. ExampleMid size 3 bed semi detached house i sold 3 years ago for 195000 which states 1 toilet but there are 2 now 238000A detached small 3 bedroom i sold 2 yards ago for 195000 now 253000!And my current 4 bedroom detached with 3 toilet and huge conservatory i bought for 220000 but it states a 3 bed with 2 toilet states now valued at 239000, yet same house next door which doesn't have a conservatory is valued at 241000. It's incredibly inaccurate!Edit in reply to your reply, why not give home owners the chance to update property details and this helping the site become more accurate. My last example is obviously YOUR fault. As both houses recently sold. Our house with the extension went for more than the house next door a year later. Yet you now value next door higher. How does that happen? Grossly inaccurate and also damages the values of properties due to you incompetence. I actually believe you have a legal obligation to address these matters and most leave you wide open to legal challenges.

Warning to Agents Using Zoopla

Zoopla’s commercial office advertising section is being openly abused, and nothing is being done about it. Every single week, certain agents delete and repost hundreds (sometimes thousands) of ads just to stay at the top of search results. This isn’t a small technical error, it’s a deliberate tactic that floods pages and blocks other agents from being seen.

If i could leave zero stars I would

If i could leave zero stars I would. Zoopla have non stop hounded me since leaving them. I run an investment and development firm and as a trial i joined Zoopla last year to trial real estate management. I realised in that 12 months period that rental management was not a sector I want to work in and so politely I cancelled my contract with Zoopla and even wasted 3 months of no advertising. Given the contractual agreement I did not kick up a fuss. But since leaving in June I have been harassed by Zoopla employees nearly every week via phone and email asking whether I would like to return. Despite my regular responses to inform them I am not at all interested and whether they could remove me from their records, they still persist. It is very annoying to receive weekly emails and phone calls from James Kingshott,Ben Mcleod to join despite my regular explanation that I have left that sector behind and have no interest in marketing properties on Zoopla

Everyone should be careful, this company is literally scamming people. We signed a contract 5 months ago and within a week we officially announced that we could not continue due to special reasons, but they are still demanding payment. We definitely did not receive any service from them, we only terminated the contract during the free trial period. As of today, we are taking them to international court, we will file a lawsuit. We will complain to the Consumer Rights Court.

Hi SahadiThank you for leaving us your feedback. We prohibit property listings on our website that include the term 'No DSS' and all of the properties on our website are now in line with our new regulations. We believe that all tenants looking to rent a property deserve the chance to be fully assessed for their suitability and matched to a home that suits both their and the landlord's circumstances. As such, we do not have a functionality on our website which would allow you to search for properties whose owners/landlords allow DSS. In order to find out if DSS/housing benefits are accepted at a particular property that you are interested in, you will need to contact its marketing agent directly for more information.
