I cant entirely fault the services of Zoopla, but I've found it extremely frustrating when searching for properties ( rental). Zoopla shows you a fairly good selection, and then when I contact the agent ( sometimes out of office hours email), they very rarely get back to you or the ' property is no longer available, but thanks Zoopla for what you do.

Trustpilot"Home Check" report advert is misleading
I purchased "Home Check" report for monthly subscription. The description in the title says "unlimited access to reports". After subscription, they tell you about terms and condition that you are only allowed to get 40 reports a month. Now; 1) Majority of people don't read those small prints and lenghty terms and condition 2) Why would you advert as unlimited while it is LIMITED to 40 reports ? The advert has to match what you say in the terms and condition then! I'm not happy and not impressed with the way you advert and misleading.

Zoopla is brilliant with the alerts but the enquiry e-mails go either all over the place, or no respond from the agents at all. Some agents call to offer me property viewings I did not send an enquiry regarding whatsoever, and re the ones I'm keen to view no reply, and they don't even pick up the phone. Hopeless to find anything this way.

Warning: Misleading Information on ZooplaI purchased a property from the 1900s that boasts three bedrooms, two living rooms, and two bathrooms. Despite this, Zoopla inaccurately lists my property as having only two bedrooms. This discrepancy provides misleading and incorrect information to potential buyers or renters.I strongly refute this misrepresentation and find it unacceptable that such false details are associated with my property on Zoopla's platform. For accurate property information, I recommend using Rightmove instead of Zoopla. Rightmove has consistently provided reliable information, unlike Zoopla, whose inaccuracies have been proven in this instance. My property information is OFFICIALLY registered with the Land Registry and includes three bedrooms, contrary to the inaccuracies presented on Zoopla's website. I can assure you of the accuracy of this information. Therefore, I advise against using Zoopla and suggest utilising Rightmove for accurate and reliable property information.THE RESPONSE TO MY EXPERIENCE OUTLINED BELOW IS OBVIOUSLY A STANDARD CUT-AND-PASTE THAT THEY USE FOR UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS.SHAME ON YOU ZOOPLA

Unfortunately, we don’t have the ability to manually add, edit or remove any property attributes and changes will only happen when we receive additional data from our verified sources such as HM Land Registry and/or Registers of Scotland, RICS Certified surveyors data (subject to the availability), live 'For sale' listings on Zoopla and Energy Performance Certificates (EPC).We're exploring the best ways to improve our data accuracy using automated systems. A hopeless website, the worst Stone with house offers, Checking whether you are a human or a robot is "stupit", you have to wait a few minutes for it to check and what? still nothing, I wait and wait and wait... no other website offers this type of verification, fortunately there are many other websites with offers that work quickly and efficiently. I do not recommend it! You won't be able to access the website because it can't tell if you are a human or a robot!

Although Zoopla has been useful while I have been seeking new accommodation, I have found it is not always as up to date as it needs to be. I have enquired about rental properties that have already been let, but which appear as available on Zoopla. This wastes a lot of time and effort at an already stressful time.

Hi Penny,Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your feedback and we're sorry to hear about your negative experience. All the for sale/to rent information on Zoopla is provided to us by the estate agents advertising the properties who are subject to our terms and conditions and code of conduct. When the status of their properties changes to either 'let' or ‘sold’, we request they mark the property as 'Let agreed' or ‘Sold STC’ on Zoopla if this is the case, but unfortunately, it seems sometimes this is not always done immediately resulting in our users finding listings in search results they did not expect. Listings generally take no longer than 24 hours to disappear from the website after the agent has requested its removal unless there was a technical error which we would be able to confirm. Our aim is to ensure that all information on our site is as comprehensive and accurate as possible so next time you see this it would be very helpful if you could select the ‘report listing’ option on the listing’s page (via desktop only). We will then investigate the issue further by speaking to the agent advertising the property. Hi Arcadie,Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We're really sorry to hear you feel this way about our valuation model.Zoopla price estimates are not valuations. We provide free house price estimates for residential properties in the UK. The price estimates are based on data fed through an Automated Valuation Model (AVM) powered by Hometrack, the UK’s largest automated valuer of residential property. Hometrack's data is relied upon by 85% of UK mortgage lenders today. We receive new data all the time and above-average variations will be largely a result of changing property characteristics and the comparability of the property to the local market. Therefore, discrepancies and/or increases or decreases such as you have outlined are not unusual. Here is a Help Centre article that will give you more information on where we get our data from:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/hc/en-gb/articles/360005677897The accuracy of Zoopla estimates is influenced by a number of factors such as the current market values of homes, the quality of the information available on the given property and the availability of comparable properties in the area. This means that unique properties or those where the housing market is slower, may experience less accurate estimates.Nevertheless, we would like to discuss your property estimate further with you and we will now message you privately for more information. Many thanks,Zoopla Support

Unfortunately, this is done when the agents upload the properties to our website via feeds which we cannot update without their instruction. Please be advised that our specially designated Compliance Team are constantly working on resolving this problem by investigating such cases with particular agents and ensuring that all property listings on our site are as comprehensive and accurate as possible. We are continually in the process of investigating the misleading property listings which are published on our website and we do take them very seriously. It is valuable feedback and ideas from users such as you that help us to continue to develop and make Zoopla a more useful resource for all our users. Thus, we do appreciate it when users send us examples of any incorrect information so that we can update our records as soon as possible.

TrustpilotAnnoying and pointless
This used to be a useful site to keep track of house prices. Now it's nothing but spam. Every single thing you do is preceded by pop-ups, offers, upgrades and non-skippable questionnaires when all you want to do is view a single piece of information. And even when you claim a property you're asked the same things again and again when you log in.In addition, Zoopla removed the one thing for which it was useful, that is adding information to your own property to give a more accurate valuation. Now the valuation of my property at least is rubbish, no better than guesswork.Basically, all the information now on the site is available much more easily elsewhere.

Was advised by an independent estate agent to look on Zoopla as well as Rightmove, as not all homes for sale are on both.Well, I tried but the website is absolutely awful! Seems to reload every 10 seconds or so and the house I was looking at would disappear then jump around, changing to different houses! Dreadful - tried to continue scrolling but just ended up missing loads of houses and eventually gave up. Checked Zoopla valuation and find went down to £144,000 in November 2023 and now in January 2024 Zoopla valuation of £167,000. This company is clueless. Also, what is this "My Home" they passed me onto for my valuation? When I put in my next door neighbours their valuations was even worse having been valued at £135,000 last November they dropped to £155,000 in January 2024 and they have exactly the same semi-detached house as me.They say their valuations are outside sourced ... so probably to pass the blame. My house attributes are wrong, it states it is a 2 bedroom when it is a 3 bedroom. I have tried communicating with them but was told there is nothing they can do as it is information made available to them. I would suggest reviewing their info supply as it is wrong. I have checked my deeds and it is a 3 bedroom house, my mortgage confirmed it is a 3 bedroom house, the mortgage's solicitors confirmed it is a 3 bedroom house, my own solicitors says its a 3 bedroom house. What is more annoying is that it use to show up as a 3 bedroom house, then something changed. I am not aware of losing a bedroom as that means one of us would be sleeping outside. If Zoopla want to be a market leader then perhaps they can work back up the chain holding other data sources to account, this would benefit the whole industry and justify their no 1 position.

It's a long process, but we're doing everything we can to find the best solution. Also, please note that your property attributes do not directly affect your estimate. Your house price estimate will continue to be updated every month. If you need any further assistance and wish to contact us directly with your feedback, you may do so via our designated Help Centre:https://help.zoopla.co.uk/Many thanks,Zoopla Support

This is about home check which is absolute waste of money. I paid, haven’t got any flood report for any properties at all. Cancelled subscription and not only no refund but can’t access even those ones for which I paid. You can get same info for free on Google. That’s where they are pulling data from and selling to customers rewritten as if it is useful. Absolutely appalling

Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
