GoogleThis is the second time Phil from Country Properties has been involved in the conveyancing of my property. Last time he acted for the vendor and this time for me as the selling agent.
On both occasions, Phil has been the estate agent in the chain working tirelessly to keep the chain together and bring us to completion through difficult circumstances when solicitors have been slow to react and communication has been trying.
Phil keeps in close contact so that you know what's happening up and down the chain. He also offers words of kindness and support when the going gets tough. House selling/buying can be such an emotional time.
I can thoroughly recommend Phil and the team at Country Properties to use as an agent to sell your property and if you have a choice of agents when you're buying - definitely use them.

They organised a huge amount of viewings and made them back to back where possible minimising inconvenience to my family. The sale went smoothly despite having trustees involved. When I started viewing houses I was encouraged to spend as much time as I needed in each property. FacebookWe had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience renting through Country Properties. The house we rented was in an unacceptable condition, it was full of mould, which posed serious health concerns and made living there deeply unpleasant. Despite raising these issues, no real help or support was offered. We spent a significant amount of our own money trying to make the place liveable, which should never have been necessary in a properly maintained rental property.
What made the situation worse was the attitude of some of the staff. We were met with condescension and rudeness when we sought assistance. We eventually refused to deal with certain individuals due to their dismissive and unhelpful manner.
This experience has left us deeply disappointed with how little regard was shown for our wellbeing as tenants. We would not recommend renting through Country Properties based on how we were treated.

Having commissioned an independent specialist survey of the property, it was confirmed that no damp was present, but a build-up of condensation had occurred. Recommendations were made to prevent the problem, and modifications were also made to the property to further reduce condensation, so we are disappointed that you feel that no help or support was offered. The team are amazing, so supportive and accommodating in everything they do. Admittedly, we were a tricky client, but nothing was too much trouble for Country Properties. We mostly dealt with Steve (who is fantastic!), but the rest of the team are brilliant too.
