So far so great

So far so great! We havent completed on our property yet, so will leave another review once we have. So far working with Michael Jones & Co has been great, we booked in a viewing, and Jack Cottingham had another property that just came on the market, he offered to take us there straight away to view it. We offered on the next week and Jack and colleagues have gone out of their way to help in every way they can, especially as the property needed some work.

Nothing but a positive experience for this seller, from my initial enquiry in person in the Chapel Road (Worthing) office, through the valuation of my flat to the progress and conclusion. Professional yet friendly, fully informed at each stage, would definitely recommend Michael Jones. Jane was particularly helpful in the final stretch.

Michael Jones company is great. I am renting with them for 2 and a half years and I am willing to stay with them for a long time. You pay for nothing but space. Maintenence is non-existent.

Apparently windows that don't spew out water every time it rains, working fire alarms, safe fire exits that aren't rusted and crumbling away, a secure back entrance and a bathroom floor that isn't caving in aren't included in the price of your rent.The people I have spoken to on the phone have been lovely but unfortunately dismissive or unable to sort the issues brought to them. I'm told to use a fixflo reporting system which I can only assume no one looks at as every request for intervention has been ignored or I've been told to just wait. I would wonder if it's an issue with our landlord not responding to them but given that I requested their information and was, again, ignored, I can only assume that poor communication between both them and their residents and within the company itself is to blame.I'm not in a position to move so boo me I guess.They did fix my fire alarm after 2 months so props for that I suppose. Everything else is still broken though and my flat is still wet.-UPDATE: it is January 22nd and my flat is STILL soaked and water is STILL currently dripping from my windows. The back door STILL doesn't close. The landing is STILL falling apart. No one has even come to look at any of these issues and my fixflo reports haven't had a response at all. I reiterate for the 10th time; MY FLAT IS WET AND THE WINDOWS ARE CURRENTLY DRIPPING WATER. THE BUILDING IS NOT SECURE. SOMEONE WILL DIE ON THOSE STAIRS. Michael Jones will acknowledge this on trust pilot and assure you all something is happening but I have literally no correspondence from them at all. I'm genuinely convinced no one even works in their maintenence department at all.

Nothing was too much trouble for Louis Griffith at their Goring office regarding the purchase of a property in the area. In fact, even whoever answered the phone was always cheerful and polite. I got more help from the Goring staff than those at my chosen estate agents for the sale of my property. I asked Louis for some conveyancers in the area which he supplied. The one I chose was equally as helpful and polite and kept me well informed.

There should be one staff for one client till agreement.

Every thing was good but one thing was Not expected,that is, from the start of my tenancy process I have to go through 5 or 6 meeting and some uncountable mobile calls with them , and almost every time I found different people to attend with me and I had to explain every time from the beginning what is going on, what is my requirement etc. There should be one staff for one client till tenancy agreement.

They’re hiding now inside their little…

They’re hiding now inside their little office just ignoring the growing black mould they painted over I have the worst infection ever their monsters. They find it funny me sitting here breathing it in going a and E again again their going to pay me back all my rent plus more for making me breathe it in I’ll go into the office and refuse to leave til they agree to fix itThey’ve now flagged my review to try and silence me I have every right to refuse to Leave till they agree to fix the mould it’s illegal there’s a police station right next to their office and they’ve deliberately made me stay inside a mould infested room I had to pay out of my own pocket for a Travelodge for 5 nights in the past 10 days (they’ll be paying for that in court) to get away from the mould and my breathing actually improved proving it’s been making me sick. Their absolute beasts in addition as an aggressive gang type response they’ve now illegally evicted me as a retaliation to me complaining about them illegally painting over the toxic black mould they knew was making me sick and the women laughing at me in the office finding it funny I was right the first time their sadistic abusers and enjoy abusing me leaving me homeless instead of removing the mould they illegally painted over also Sam rang me off of no caller Id and made several threats against me saying if I leave one more review he’ll ‘wipe me out’ and he said he hopes the mould sends me back to a and E and that they’ll just paint over it again and again and laughed down the phone at me then hung up also said if I ever dare step foot in the office they’ll all say to the police lies about me to get me falsely locked up in prison and said I deserve it because I’m a p***sy’ he said they all laugh about me in the officer and have made bets to see how long it will take for me to get a lung infection I tried to trace the call but couldn’t. Watch out for this estate agents their really nasty and a bunch of criminals will be going to the papers with this.Got another call this time from a woman at Michael jones called me a ‘b**ch boy and said that until I leave the couple downstairs will make my life a living hell and that the landlord has given them ‘free reign’ to do whatever they want also that the landlord is apparently sleeping with the girl downstairs so whatever I do or say he’ll ignore me and he’s ‘told the whole hose to give my the worst time ever’ till I leave. Had to stay somewhere else last night out of fear I’m going to be demanding every single month of the 6 months rent be transferred to my bank account or it will be court as he’s planning on renting this out to someone else with confirmed attempt to hide toxic black mould that’s a criminal offence.
