GoogleWorse than abysmal. I would never use this company again. Only used them as they were also selling a property we were looking to buy and thought it would make things easier - big mistake. Many of the people who we had to view our property commented that they struggled to get through to arrange viewings which could have resulted in lost interest. The general customer service is poor and promised call backs etc missed. Had to chase things many times. Made a complaint and they simply came back with excuses which they no doubt will do to this review. Struggling to see how they can justify their fee, as other than arranging photos and putting the property online they have done very little for us.

As addressed on your partners 1 star Google Review your accusations are false. Your statement "many of the people who we had to view our property commented that they struggled to get through to arrange a viewing which could have resulted in loss of interst" is contradicted (so they got through, didn't lose interest and attended the viewing) along with the 15 other viewings that managed to get through resulting in your property being sold within 10days. Again we have a comment of Fee so ill again reiterate terms of business which you signed along with our invoice. If you do however refuse to pay upon completion we will escalate this inline with our terms of business that you agreed to which has also been attached to email we have sent you. To be blunt we do not appreciate customers trying to get a freebie through unethical accusations it's quite immoral behaviour.

GoogleAbsolutely the worst estate agents I’ve encountered, as a seller I wouldn’t go near them. Communication is very poor they don’t contact you , fail to confirm viewings , text you feedback with emojis, so unprofessional. I had a few people ring the office ring asking for properties like mine in the area didn’t even suggest my house, and some didn’t even get a response. Was also told it was overpriced after they valued it, stay clear don’t get sucked in by the low fee. Staff in the office are either really inexperienced or rude. I had missed calls from the office , called them back to get a “I don’t know why we called you response” oh my !

All viewings were confirmed with yourself and viewers and all feedback was given the next day. We always try to call to give our feedback however if you don't answer we will email or message the feed back straight away. I can see on our system we called you and your partner several times with no response, I'm guessing because you might have been at work hence the messaging of feedback.
We understand it can be frustrating when your house isn't selling however all viewers feedback was the same, it was overpriced due to the crime rate near your property and no off road parking which is the reason you yourself are wanting to move.
The reason we asked for a reduction is because we valued the property at 325,000 yet you and your partner wanted it on for 350,000. Again the main feedback was it was over priced hence the reason we asked for the reduction and communicated this feedback eveytime as a good agent should.
As for your comment "don't get sucked in by their small fee's" we pride ourselves in providing an affordable price and the comment is contradicted by the fact you were on with another agent with higher fee's with no success of sale and might I add, at the price we valued it at 325k.
Regarding experience each one of our staff has over 10 years of experience. We have had 1000's of happy customers since opening our doors 3 years ago. We will continue to relay honest feedback to our customers to help them sell. This also includes refusing to lie to part exchange companies on your behalf, all the best to you and your 3rd agent. 🤞🏼

GoogleWell, after two years of trying to sell my house with Critchlow Estate agents, I have to say, I am very disappointed….
Where do I begin?
Initially, they were keen to get the property on the market with fairly decent photos, although this was not listed with a premium listing.
I was expected to do Viewings myself, which wasn’t ideal as I am self-employed Numerous viewings didn’t even turn up. I can only presume after taking feedback from other viewings that this is because contact is appalling with the estate agents.
In the full two years I’ve not selling the house. I had to engage contact to get reviews or updates. Never once did I receive a call or any professional advice in trying to increase Interest.
When I finally decided enough enough, I asked for the owner to contact me but got no… I’ve then raised the situation by advising that I was Considering changing estate agents and guess what still no reply.
After reading other poor reviews, it seems that they are only interested in arguing their case instead of improving the service they provide.
My recommendation would be to avoid avoid avoid….

GoogleDealing with Critchlow’s for a rental. We have gone for the full package, finder and management and they have been great 2 months in. Deal with Alison, who has taken all the stress away from the process. Led the viewings provided me with suitable applicants, we made the decision who to go with based of her recommendations, for which the tenants were vetted. Had no problems since they have moved in, Alison takes any comms from the tenants on our behalf, and if needed will get in contact through WhatsApp. Rates are extremely competitive I had a good look around, so yes I would highly recommend the company and also the fully managed option.
