Well what can i say after trying 2 of the supposedly market leaders who never answered there phones or returned emails and basically lued constantly,Critchlow estate agents and namely Martin was a breath of fresh air. Always on hand day or night Martin was down to earth and honest in his opinions, and nothing was to much trouble.He even kept checking on the progress of the sale by keeping in touch with both solicitors. We were in the throes of moving to France permanently so needed constant feedback which we got in bucket loads. Photos and 360° videos were up and running in no time and i guarantee you will not find a better price ANYWHERE !. Sorry for the late review Martin but i have been really busy on our new home here in sunny France. Buying a property can often be one of the most stressful things that you can do, well Lee and the team at Critchlow went above and beyond to make sure that we were kept "in the loop" all the way through the process. They were quick to respond to questions from both us as buyers and to any requests the solicitors had no matter how trivial. I’m not sure how this Estate get so many 5 five start reviews because as a buyer the level of customer service is shocking. I rang the office a number of times over a few days to try to arrange viewings on three different houses they were marketing. I spoke to Lee each time and not once did he ever ring me back. Each time he said I’m waiting for the vendor to come back to me, two weeks since I last called and I’m still waiting for a call or at least the courtesy to come back to a potential buyer with an update. I did manage to view one of their properties after chasing but they also never followed up for feedback or to ask if we would be interested, which is standard practice for many of the much more professional agents I’ve dealt with during my search. Thankfully I found my dream house which was marketed by another agent. If this is the level of service a potential buyer experiences, I certainly wouldn’t be looking to use to buy or sell any future properties.

I can't recommend Critchlows enough. Lee went above and beyond to help us with our sale and difficult purchase. He supported our Seller no end with her sale, always very patient, very professional, friendly and jovial. It took 7 months but we got there in the end thanks to him. Martin and his team just assisted me with sale of a rental property which I no longer required. Communication was good thoughout, and as I dont live local either, Martin was happy to hold keys and let trades persons into the property while the refubishment was being finished off. I would like to share my positive experience of using Critchlow’s Estate Agents during my recent house sale. From the very outset, I was impressed with their service. Martin attended to view the property and offer advice around the valuation and pricing options. I found him to be professional, helpful, and efficient. There was no pressure applied to use the services of Critchlows, however having had the property viewed by other estate agents, his approach was by far the best experience that I had and ultimately I was happy to entrust the sale with him. Once the property has sold, which was in a very short period, I dealt mostly with Lee Dono who I found to be equally as efficient, accessible, patient and understanding of our situation. No matter how many times I contacted him, he was always pleasant, courteous and responsive. I would have no hesitation in recommending Critchlows estate agents and will definitely use them again myself. If I could give less than one star I would! They do nothing but lie through their teeth and hate being pulled up about things and come back with lame excuses and blame everyman and his dog other than them and the lack of service they provide! Even gone to the point of lying about our buyer! Laughable! Top tip don't use them as they're utterly useless and don't do anything for the fee they charge! If you want a decent estate agents I'd go to Shaw or Priory as even though we weren't with them their communication regarding the properties we were and are buying is exceptional! They hate complainants and just push the blame elsewhere! STAY WELL CLEAR unless you want a useless, rude and absolutely appalling service! Also just spoke to my buyer again who has stated you've lied about her as she NEVER stated they were waiting for us to find somewhere like you state they did as we speak regularly and have done all through this whereas you just can't be a***d to keep up communications 😂😂 Sold my property within 10 days! I think you will find we put the property on the market in the June and sold it in the August! Also you may have 125 emails to and from us BUT them emails are regarding the property we were buying back in May 2023 ia yourselves which you Continuely lied about! Leaving us to have to find another! BTW how is the problem with that property that you lie to buyers about..... coming up to 2 years now isn't it!?? We have had NO communication from you since Sept 2023 until I emailed and stated we were withholding our payment to you advised by our solicitor for your lack of professionalism and communication, low an behold you can instantly reply to that, amazing! I think you need to learn about customer services and realise you can't just be aggressive to people when you don't like what they say! I stand by what I say and will tell everyone who asks just how shocking you and your company is!
