The Prospect Team at Farnborough have been excellent. Darren was polite, professional and efficient. The marketing was great and the property sold after the open house. The whole team in the office supported us all the way through the process, Jordan, Shaun and Darren made sure we knew what was going on and did all the leg work for us so we didn't have to. Every call was returned the same day and advice and information was given. Communication and customer service made the process of selling and purchasing very smooth.

Absolutely brilliant, honestly cannot thank this team enough. From the minute we met Shaun, through to the day of exchange he continually went above and beyond for us. We (unfortunately) had a challenging time with buyers initially during our sale process, but Shaun was consistently proactive and worked extremely hard to ensure the exchange was completed. He regularly kept us up to date and was always honest and approachable. A huge, huge thank you to the team at Prospect and especially Shaun! I’d without a doubt, definitely recommend them.

Misleading

Prospective landlords and tenants beware. My experience with Prospect Lettings (Bracknell) has involved 13 months of unaddressed severe disrepair and pigeon infestation, leading to a formal Statutory Nuisance determination by the Public Protection Partnership (Council). The agency repeatedly provided misleading information, failed to maintain the property, and issued a retaliatory Section 8 notice after council intervention. Do not be fooled by early-stage 5-star reviews requested before problems arise. Avoid at all costs.

Beth Murphy was my point of contact at Prospect and whilst we didn’t buy or sell our property through the agency I have to say she was one of the best agents I dealt with. Beth really understood and took onboard what we were looking for and she would keep in contact with me enough for me to know that I hadn’t been forgotten about but not in an overbearing way - we were also able to pick up where we left off from the previous conversation and she was genuinely delighted when I was able to update her to say we had sold and also found something. Whilst I understand there are sales targets and KPI’s… unlike with other agencies I never felt like Beth called just to tick a box or sent me an email about a house that was completely unsuitable just to say she had sent it to X number of people. As a busy mum of three when you are looking for property you need to have agents like Beth who won’t waste your time, will give you measured mature and honest information about the market and houses and just generally appreciate what life can be like. I really enjoyed speaking to Beth - an asset to your company.

Beth Murphy - the best!

We met Beth at our first viewing a few months ago. She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable about every property she showed us, more than once working later than her normal hours to accommodate our timescales. We did see quite a few properties (!) but Beth was never impatient and made us feel that we needed to be sure it was right for us. Then she efficiently got the ball rolling with solicitors and regularly chased up each party. Although I have no complaints about my selling agents, I just wish I had placed my property for sale with Beth at Prospect!

I used to be a Tennant with prospects…

I used to be a Tennant with prospects for 6 years. All was well and good throughout the tenancy, a few hiccups through out including tradespersons who lie about work being conducted. however the worst part was at the end of the tenancy where all communications cease, you get ignored for days on end, and you get stung by deductions that are un-reasonable and unjustifiable; especially when you have 6years of excellent property inspection reports and never any warnings or concerns raised. They lie to you and only own up when a subject access request is submitted. Be cautious, keep all emails and communications with them and when it comes to tenancy terminations I advise just use the TDS to support you!

Professional and friendly agents

Prospect have been very professional and friendly whilst organising the tenancy for our flat in Reading. Chira Gavaghan and Beckie Baxter in particular were extremely receptive, attentive, and helpful throughout the entire sign-on process. The only detriment to Prospect's business is their use of GoodLord, who failed multiple times to follow up on referencing, ultimately causing major delays in our signing and a lot of unnecessary worrying regarding our move! Both Chira and Beckie were extremely reassuring during this, and I am grateful for their pragmatism and helpfulness.

Shocking lack of care, unaddressed safety hazards, and total radio silence

I moved into a property managed by this agency almost 2 months ago, and the experience has been incredibly frustrating. Despite identifying and officially logging multiple high-priority safety and structural issues on their Fixflo system, the agency has gone completely silent and ignored multiple emails and phone calls.

I highly Recommend this Agency! Raia Bradshaw Was the Agent who viewed us the property on the day, she was very informative and straight forward, friendly and kind. we agreed to put an offer forward, and same day her colleague Matthew Spennewyn (Another fast and efficient Agent who handled most of my phone calls and document work at the agency), set us up with the application process and within 2 weeks we got the property, was a fast efficient service. In this period, Raia and Matt, kept me well informed on what's going on with the applications, never kept me on suspense throughout the 2 weeks. Overall was a great experience. After a great experience buying a property through Prospect Farnborough in 2020, I have since gone on to sell my property with them. Each member of the team I've had the pleasure of dealing with has been really helpful along the way. My property was valued by branch manager Darren, who took the time to take me through the local market and appraise my property fairly. Tilly was persistent in getting people to view my property, before Jordan helped to get the sale process moving. Prospect manage several of my properties, Chloe Reilly, my dedicated property manager is fantastic, capable and always at the end of the phone or email and ready with a solution when needed. I feel Prospect are an integral part of my business. They are the first port of call for the tenants if there are any problems and manage them efficiently and professionally. Prospect make me aware of any legal requirements, especially with the new renters rights bill and I also rely on the check in/ inspection/checkout reports they organise for me.

Lily Sines was my property manager at Prospect. I was in the property for 9 years, Lily was my property manager for the last few years. She is professional, kind and helpful in her dealings with you. Great experience dealing with Raia B at the Farnborough branch. After being effectively homeless on the rushed completion of the sale of my flat we were pretty desperate to get into a rental property as soon as possible. I would highly recommend using prospect to sell your property. Darren, Connor and Skyla make for an incredible team, who are attentive, honest and motivated. After experiencing several issues with another estate agent, prospect stepped up and demonstrated how a professional estate agency works. They might not be the smallest commission around. However, they offer far more than a cheap suit and a cheesy sales pitch.
