I've just left the property I've been renting for the last 2 and a half years with Richard James and would like to comment about the leaving: I received a guideline on how to leave the property, very detailed. I followed all steps, especially the one about hiring a private company to do the cleaning. After a while I received the full deposit back! I have to say that GEE MOSSOM was really helpful. She was following the full process with me, always available and very professional. She answered all my questions, took all necessary actions and made me feel I was being looked after. If you ever rent a property with Richard James make sure Gee Mossom is involved in the process.

Since buying the house in 2020, it being a rocky road getting all the legalities regarding tenancies up together but with the constant help of Grace Dobie I was finally able to move forward with applicants. Grace was excellent at keeping in touch with me and making sure everything was moving in the right direction. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for an Estate Agent to help them. 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I found my move out of rented accommodation with Richard James nothing but stressful, upsetting and difficult. There were no COVID precautions put in place for viewings that I was aware of, so I felt pressured into allowing people into the house I was living in whilst also trying to keep my 5 month old daughter safe. Then once we had moved out we were still recieveing phone calls regarding viewings showing a lack of communication between staff. A week after moving out I was then appalled with the phone call I recieved from the move out inspector who had the cheek to tell me the house “needed a good clean” and it would cost £170 of our depsit to get a cleaner in!!! However when asked to see pictures of the areas that needed cleaning I received nothing. Days of constantly having to contact them to ask for pictures and to get an update on what was happening and whilst being constantly lied to we finally had the full deposit back. If renting with Richard James I would highly recommend taking your own photos when you move in and when you move out to prevent them trying to steal your money like they did mine!

Richard helped sell our our old and buy our new home in August 2016 and was a great example of an estate agent going the extra mile and doing the right thing for his customer! He was always on hand if we needed any advice and he was a good sounding board as we progressed through the sales process. We just moved to the United Kingdom, been searching for a house while staying in a hotel and wanted to move in sooner than later. Honestly its been so stressful, just felt like we had so many things to do. It was one thing after another and we felt like we were drowning. Thankfully we found Chloe Disbury and she helped take one of the biggest things off our plate. She did amazing helping us get into our place quickly!
