I have decided to use them as the Full Management Service because, as the landlord, I haven't got the time and experience. Morgan showed me around a property a few months ago, and I thought she was knowledgeable about the market and had good ideas about potential property renovation. I have just a had a property let by Manns Locks Heath and I will be instructing them to Let two more units I have becoming vacant next month. Alec and his team have done a great job for me finding a tenant within a week of me instructing them. The tenant moved in yesterday. I found the team to be very thorough and professional and the service exceded my expectations. I would definitely recommend the letting team and like I said I am using them again soon in the future. I have recently sold my property through Mann and I really couldn’t recommend them enough, we decided to change estate agents early in the process based on reviews and we came across Mann and I am so glad that we did. The team were efficient and effective with getting all of the details correctly published, and they would send over weekly updates on how things are going. Throughout the whole process the team have kept me updated and when we finally sold they were very on top of chasing, getting all the parties aligned and making sure that everyone had the right communication. Overall the communication and service provided by the team in Mann has been fantastic, thank you all so so much for your hardwork xx

Absolutely disappointed and regretting…

Absolutely disappointed and regretting I chose MANN woolwich , Victoria wasn’t supportive and helpful at all, I rented a house 3 weeks ago, when I went in there was no hot water at all. Been chasing and going to the agency in woolwich every day and until today there is still not hot water in the property. Never ever trust them especially Victoria. I can’t believe that in 21st century I need to use kettle to have shower . Thank you @mannwoolwich

Truly Awful Experience

I know that estate agents have a generally bad reputation but Mann & Co South Croydon branch take the biscuit! We dealt with Eve when we were trying to purchase a flat & it was an awful experience! On viewing the flat it looked reasonable inside and we were told all it needed was a lick of paint and there were no major problems but when we got our survey done it indicated that basically the flat is uninhabitable due to damp that is so bad it is a potential health hazard and the owner had tried to cover it up with paint and hardboard so it did look reasonable to lay people like us.What a dirty trick by the owner! Walls were in danger of falling down and there were many other serious problems.I am disgusted that we never had an inkling about the bad state of the flat before the survey due to the cover up job by the owner. I am not saying that Eve or the agents were in any way complicit in the cover up or even aware of it ,nor am I saying she tried to knowingly mislead us about the condition of the property and maybe she was not aware of the bad condition of the flat herself,however,this hardly inspires confidence in the agents and she should have known! If she did know about the condition of the property then I think she was acting illegally in not informing us about all the serious problems ,but of course that would be hard to prove.It is a definite loophole in the law which is ripe for exploitation by dishonest agents. We will never have anything to do with Mann again.It would seem that these agents don’t give a damn about buyers or the condition of a property and just want to rush a sale through so they can get their big fat fee. Buyers beware! They may not be acting illegally but I would question their ethics,or lack of,especially as they had told us there were no serious problems and it is no wonder that estate agents have such a terrible reputation.Also they refused to take the property off the market after the offer had been accepted by the owner which left us in danger of being gazumped.They just don’t seem to care about gazumping.Judging by all the other bad reviews many people have had a terrible experience with Mann & Co and I would advise you to avoid this dodgy bunch like the plague,it was a truly awful experience! There should be laws to protect the buyer and prevent the wasted time and money on solicitor and survey fees when you are forced to pull out of a sale due to a less than honest owner covering up the bad condition of a property which is only revealed by an expensive survey.Agents should be forced to check the condition of a property and inform buyers if there are major problems,unfortunately it seems you can’t rely on some agents to do this (certainly not Mann & Co) and legislation is needed.

"My interaction with this real estate firm was less than positive. The Lady who was assigned to me throughout the procedure appeared indifferent and uninterested. I frequently felt as though I was kept in the dark about crucial updates due to inadequate communication. The property listings offered additionally did not suit my choices, which made the search difficult. It was clear that the lady was more concerned with finding out how much I was ready to spend than with locating a home that actually suited my needs. This tactic left me feeling pushed around and uneasy, which made me even more disappointed. I had a bad overall experience with this business, and I would be hesitant to hire them again.

It's abundantly clear that they blatantly lied and exhibited complete disregard for me from the very beginning. When I called to arrange a viewing and they promised to send an email, they failed to follow through, which raises suspicions that this negligence could be linked to my ethnic name. Perhaps due to my name, they thought I was uneducated and didn't know any better (I have two degrees in structural engineering). Moreover, the lady on the phone seemed remarkably eager to cut the conversation short, almost as if she couldn't wait to evade her responsibilities. To exacerbate matters, she also tried to assess how much more I might be willing to pay, showing such poor behaviour and a concerning lack of fairness in the process. As a structural engineer who has previously worked alongside a property business, I am well-acquainted with industry standards and expectations. This level of unprofessionalism is deeply disappointing and falls far short of the professionalism I would expect from any reputable organisation. Considering these circumstances, it may be worth considering calling them out on social media to shed light on this unprofessional behaviour and hopefully prompt some accountability. Finally, if there was an option to select 0 ratings I would opt for it, abysmal service.

Stay away from this letting agency

They played with me for over 2 weeks about an apartment in Waterlooville. Had my credit check, provide excellent references from my landlord, kept lying to me telling me that everything will be fine. Complained that my pension amounts were at several dates in the month ( I received several, from US, France and UK sometimes the dates vary from one day) my pension amount were way above and the first time, they could confirm only half of it even though they had my bank statements. Stay away from Mann & Co Countrywide. Countrywide Morgage was one of the bank scandal ( 2007/2008) in the US which led to the subprime and people losing their home.
