Fantastic agency to deal with, have restored my faith in the industry after a series of bad experiences

Lisa and the team were a breath of fresh air and a real pleasure to deal with.My property was previously for sale with 3 separate agents over the course of 18 months, with a poor experience with them all. Lack of effort on the marketing and very little pro-active input, also pressuring me into taking low offers.I moved to Smart during January, who offered a competitive fee and an honest appraisal on the property, which confirmed that my expectations were in line with the market. They completely re-did the marketing and re-launched the property, refreshing what was previously a 'stale' looking advert/property. This energised approach led to nearly 20 viewings over the course of the following two weeks and 3 offers, I took the last one and have just completed.10/10 would very much recommend if you are looking to sell your property in Exeter, or you are having similar experience with other agents.

There was a persistent leak coming from…

There was a persistent leak coming from an upstairs bathroom into the kitchen below. It took a few attempts to find the source of the leak but each time I contacted Nina the message was very quickly passed on to the Landlord. Nina efficiently organised times and dates for the Landlord and plumber to visit that were convenient for me and stayed in communication until the issue was resolved.

I wanted to move but was daunted by the prospect, especially since I had a Shared Ownership property and didn't know there to start. That all changed when I met Lisa from Smart. She talked me through the process, found me a buyer swiftly and was supportive throughout. I paid Smart's very reasonably-priced upfront option so that the fees were sorted from the start. We were attracted to SMART because we trusted and liked Rob and were attracted by their price structure. Lisa was super efficient and our house sold pretty quickly so big shout out to her! Other estate agents were pretty sketchy when we wanted to view houses too so we wouldn't use them to sell our home.We recommend SMART to our friends and colleagues and more fool them if they don't take our advice.Don't want to have to buy or sell for a very long time but if we do they'll be our first call.

I've just sold my house and Smart Estate Agents were AMAZING. Rob came to value it and suggested a price higher than I had thought, with lots of relevant information to back up his decision. I instructed them on a Thursday, they booked 5 viewings for the Saturday and agreed a sale - at above asking price - on the Monday. They were great at communicating and keeping me updated throughout the process and the sale was completed very quickly. Definitely highly recommended :)

Would not hesitate to recommend!

I sold my house with Smart estate agents and would not hesitate to recommend them. Lisa was fantastic throughout the whole process, keeping us updated all the time and always being available for any questions we may have. She has a real passion for what she does which shone through from the first time we met her.Within one week of Lisa first coming to the house to give us a quote the house was on the market with multiple viewings arranged and the day after the viewings we received some great offers which I believe was in part due to Lisa's pricing strategy and enthusiasm when conducting the viewings. Smart is exactly what this company are. Having had a property on the market with an online agent with 5 viewings in eight months, I decided it was time to get SMART! The house I was selling had far more views in eight days than I had in eight months with a very good price negotiated by Lisa Williams. I think Lisa should negotiate BREXIT! Clearly Lisa is much more able and quicker at getting a deal than those negotiating BREXIT at the moment. GO LISA!

Tom was the estate agent for the vendors of the house we were buying. So really, not representing us at all. However, he couldn’t have been more attentive to our needs! We have been with Adam and Smart since the very early days of the business. As a Landlord that lives far away from our property, and now in another continent, we have to rely on their complete management services and trust them to sort any problems minor or major without hassle. They manage all aspects for us, from tenant search, referencing, inventory, maintenance, contractor liasion, rent and even external factors such as neighbours to the property. We have recently used their in house financial advice service to renegotiate our mortage and HALF our monthly payments. Natalie is a new member of the team who now handles a lot of our communications and is particularly good at dealing with the tenants. We will always use SMART and when the time comes to sell our property and buy another, we will be going through them. I have and will continue to recommend the team to anyone in the area.

I cannot recommend Smart highly enough, they have been fantastic to work with! We were initially torn between a traditional high street estate agent vs an online one, and Smart seemed like the perfect hybrid of the two. After comparing several quotes we listed our house for sale with them and saved over £2,000 in agency fees thanks to Smart's upfront and transparent prices! Rob and Lisa came to take measurements and photos and the ad went up very quickly. We were pleased with how professional it looked. Within 10 days we had sold! A special thanks has to go to Lisa Williams, who took care of all the conveyancing issues and queries in a highly professional and courteous manner. She was really on the ball with communication in the vital weeks following the sale.
