GoogleAs a landlord a fast and efficient service is required from a property management company. Smart are exceptional. The agents are always on the ball keeping me updated with any issues. I'm especially impressed by Emily Barlow and Nina Savage from the initial inspection and marketing to attending to any enquiries from the tenants. Very impressive

GoogleIf I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. Extremely poor service. The whole team I communicated with have given me this opinion, but in particular I would like to make a special complaint about Doug. He was passive aggressive with me during a phone call, on which I was obviously upset as I had to pull out of the tenancy, and during the anxious time I emailed / phoned multiple times - all of which were ignored. Unless you’re giving money, or helping them out, this company have absolutely no interest in you. I would absolutely go elsewhere for all your house hunting needs.

GooglePretty disappointed with the service we received as tenants. Started off an a bad foot when they tried to charge us for tenant fees even though our tenancy started in June, after the bad on tenant fees was implemented. Managed to get out money back, but only after threatening to report them to trading standards. During our tenancy there was a complete lack of communication from Smart about any maintenance issues. Emails frequently went ignored or calls never returned. The flat we were renting was incredibly damp but it took more than 2 months of complaining about it before an inspection took place which proved completely unhelpful. The person doing the inspection said he's be in touch with some advice...but this never happened. The mould was so bad that it destroyed a lot of our personal items and furniture and also led to a expensive vet bill for one of our pets - who now has an ongoing respiratory problem because of all this! We gave in our notice to leave after our contract ended, and they seemed very on the ball about getting a new tenant in despite the obvious damp/mould issue that we'd been having and kept raising. I honestly can't believe this company, and don't know why there are so many positive reviews for them. Based on our experience, i would not recommend renting with this company!

I appreciate how swift and efficient the viewing was booked in, on the same day when I rang the agency. I had a viewing with Jack Ottaway, whose professional and knowledgable about the apartment. Knowing that I was viewing other properties, he was not pushy at all and genuinely tried his best to offer me other options to meet my expectations. I would recommend Smart Estate Agent.
