GoogleI had a terrible experience with this agent earlier this year. I was unfortunate enough to deal with her over my house purchase. In stark contrast, sadly, to other agents in the past and professionals involved in my recent purchase (e.g. solicitor, bank, surveyor - all deserving of full 5 stars). I had my offer accepted but the agent refused to issue the memorandum of sale until the vendor (another lovely and very reasonable person to work with) had secured a purchase, to do otherwise, I was told by the agent, "would be breaking the law", which of course is false. I checked with two solicitors, the first laughed at the absurdity of the dubious claim and the second took a very dim view of offering such 'legal' advice. I found her obstructive and very nearly withdrew my offer, so not so great for purchasers or vendors. Having to deal with this agent made the move considerably more stressful than it otherwise should have been (both of us were chain free). I couldn't in all faith do anything other not recommend her.
Hello Matthew, We were disappointed to read your feedback following the purchase of your property through us. For clarity, at no point would we ever refuse or advise that issuing a memorandum of sale before a client has found a property “would be breaking the law”. We issue a memorandum of sale once a chain is complete, this would be either once our client has found a property to purchase or agrees to move into temporary/rented accommodation. You were informed from the outset that the owner of property you were buying from had not yet found a property to purchase. To issue our memorandum of sale at this stage would potentially put both the homeowner and yourself at risk of incurring abortive legal costs. Once our client found a property to purchase and the chain was complete, solicitors were instructed and contracts exchanged on your purchase within eight weeks. Regular updates were provided throughout the transaction. In contrast to your review, the seller of this property has provided us with an exceptional review thanking us for our efficient and exceptional service. We pride ourselves on the service we provide to all clients, however we would always encourage anyone to make contact with us at the time they feel things are going wrong. Should anyone reading this review have any concerns over any of its content, please do not hesitate to contact us.

GoogleWell what can I say, having dealt with many different estate agents over the last several years Naomi J Ryan are by far the best in the business. From sale agreeing our house within the week to regular updates on our rather lengthily transaction I can’t recommend them enough. Special mention to Rachael and Michael who come highly recommended.
