GoogleTERRIBLE DO NOT GO WITH THEM. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. When we first moved into the house none of our bedroom or bathroom locks worked. Both bathrooms locked u in from the inside I was stuck in there for 2 hours. The garage was absolutely disgusting which doesn’t even describe the condition 🤢🤢🤮 and the fireplace had so much dust and debris it’s like a natural disaster had happened. They never fixed ANY of our locks even though they said “yeah we’ll get that fixed asap”. This company will try ANYTHING to withhold your deposit taking advantage of poor vulnerable students. They are the worse. If I could leave a negative review I would

GoogleWe bought our flat at Isca Place through Martin & Co seven years ago and have used them for letting the flat for that period. We have just used them to sell the flat which completed on 6 July 2023. In all that time we have had nothing but the highest quality service from them in regard to purchase, letting and selling. GoogleWe all know estate agents have a reputation, but Emily was actually just a normal person and treated us a such. She was extremely knowledgeable and also happy to help. The bonus was we got a great price for our property and the fees didn't take it all back again.

GoogleAVOID AVOID AVOID this agency. it tooks 2 weeks trying to rent a room in sharehouse It s very difficult to reach them by email or phone. They changed 3 times the hour and the day of the appointement to view the room. I immediately booked this room as I had already lived there for 3 years. they did not wanted to rent it to me. they didn't want to do a virtual view like the previous nice landlord had done due to my disability. I have insisted a lot to have this room which had all the criteria for my disability. I did everything they resquested. I wasted a lot of time and money. After two weeks they said they have choosen someone else.I think the agency did not want to rent me the room because of my disability. they give a very bad image of English agencies. To avoid. Unprofessional, inhuman, bad customer service.

When I arrived at the property, no agent turned up and the tenants were unaware of the viewing. Later found out the property had already been let. Despite their claims, I received no communication about the viewing being cancelled. When trying to reach out to the office, I have revived poor levels of customer service and faced with a rude response.

Facebookaccount with amazement, i remember few months back i had nothing i couldn't boast of 100 $ in my bank account cause i've lost my life-savings and pension to scammers, i had lost all hope in life.. until MRS CHARLOTTE WAYNE came along, the man who changed my life totally. i had concluded that all account managers in groups were scammers but M proved me wrong, every time i apologize to him for doubting him from the start. GoogleAwful service throughout tenancy & beyond. Property owners & tenants avoid if possible, they will not respond to emails requesting essentials like enough bins for the amount of flats in a building, if a room is extremely damp & mouldy they will pass off your upset about your furniture and belongings being ruined by trying to increase your rent in a global pandemic when most people are struggling to even pay their bills (whilst claiming the landlord has asked for the increase, of which after checking they knew nothing about). Furthermore, when you end the tenancy they will ignore your request for a reference (a simple click of a button) the office main contact is rude, inexperienced and extremely unhelpful. To top it all off, I would suggest you don’t put too much effort into cleaning as they will allow builders into the property prior to inspection and assess how clean it is with tools, dust and other equipment throughout; consequently leading to a lot of deposit deductions. An awful organisation, I can only hope some higher management at Martin & Co see this review & take action.

GoogleI've recently rented a flat through Martin & Co and the whole experience has been absolutely great. Communication was always prompt and the team showed great availability in answering questions. Everything for the tenancy was well organized and planned. On the day of collecting the keys all documents were organized and ready for me to collect. I was even gifted a move in gift box and bottle of wine as an extra treat - very friendly team, so far can't fault.

GoogleWhilst going through one of the hardest times in my life with my husband of many years dying of cancer, Martins took over the finding of a new tenant for my flat in Cranbrook. They were absolutely excellent and made it so easy for me, being both empathic and professional. They even managed to find me a tenant to move in the day after my previous tenant moved out. GooglePathetic, in fact Google doesn't allow negative ratings, otherwise would have rated -5. Had an appointment with them but no one turned up after waiting for half an hour, rang up at the office thrice just to know that I had called the wrong department, and on asking for the contact details for the right department they provided the same number that I was talking to.

GoogleIt’s glad to meet Alice and Emy from Martin and Co Exeter. We successfully rent a house in Exeter within a month. Their response and help impressed me a lot. I’m now living in the house for 2 weeks. Except some billing issues and the grassless backyard are still on hold, the equipment and facilities are good at all. I wish they can keep caring their tenants in the future.
