From start to finish, Tracy Bennett at the Nunthorpe Branch was fantastic, supportive and informative!
As a first time seller, Tracy provided all information to me to help guide me through the process and what to expect. They also put me in touch with a conveyancer to help with managing the full process of selling our house as quickly as practical, as we are relocating due to work.
We marketed our house on the Thursday, had a wave of viewings and offers coming in over the weekend, and we accepted an asking price offer on the Tuesday!
Tracy responded to my enquiries very quickly and helped kept things progressing until our completion, which was around 6 weeks from offer. We had a lovely FTB family and we had no onward chain, and we are now able to look for our next home as chain-free buyers.
David Poole took fantastic photographs of our house which went online on rightmove and onthemarket, etc. The brochure was also fantastic.
I'd highly recommend Tracy Bennett, especially if you're a first time seller! I felt comfortable, updated and confident throughout the entire process, from marketing and arranging viewings to handling offers and completion, with information what happens at each stage of the sale. Tracy also communicated well with our buyers, which is very important. Thank you Tracy for all your help!

I would highly recommend Michael Poole to anybody who was looking to Rent , buy or sell a property. I was looking for a suitable rental property for my family, I found many other estate agents would simply not contact me back and one estate agent failed to turn up to a viewing. I came across a very suitable property through Michael Poole. From me viewing the property to me receiving the keys it took a total of two weeks, this is including the extended Easter holidays. The staff at the Middlesbrough Branch were all fantastic,
so helpful. They kept me informed of what was happening and what the next step would be. I would highly recommend Michael Poole. I would like to thank all of the staff at the Middlesbrough branch for making such a stressful time of moving house, so much easier.

Fabulous experience with Michael Poole. David Poole valued my late Mum's property which is pretty unique. I really appreciated that he took time to reflect and come back with a considered valuation. We chose to go with the firm as they had an enthusiasm about the property that other firms didn't. The lovely Victoria Wood in the Nunthorpe office handled negotiations for us. This was done in a very professional way. Very important to me as I do not condone gazumping or dodgy dealings! We had 5 offers the first day of viewings!! Victoria kept us fully informed throughout and I truly believe that she managed to achieve best price for us. Bravo Victoria!

Huge thank you to Craig and Sophie. Not the best experience due to external problems which had nothing to do with Michael Poole Middlesbrough branch. They kept trying to resolve the fencing and gate issue and everything turned out well at the finish. They are a credit to your company and went over and above to help. Nothing was too much trouble and although I called in branch on weekly basis I always felt welcome and would not hesitate to recommend Michael Poole. Thank you very much Craig and Sophie and also to John who showed us the property on a number of occasions.

LL selling, I’ve had no trouble with MP up until I was leaving, I had no contact or help from anybody after the sect 21 to help me find anything new?, eventually after finding a new property to rent I had issues with them delaying my reference despite not missing a payment in 9 years!! I’m glad I cancelled my Standing order as I was billed for the month after my tenancy ended as they had failed to update Melanie in accounts that I had gone. I received no apology, just a standard response “system hadn’t been updated” -I left my flat in great condition and it’s 3 weeks before I get my deposit back , I can afford it but how are people supposed to pay a deposit whilst waiting repayment of another. Not good enough.i was thinking about 4 stars however decided on 3, when you can spend an lifetime in building a legacy up but it takes one stupid mistake in letting it fail! Shame

We viewed a property that was for sale with Micheal Poole on December 30th 2025 and made an offer via email on the 30th. Although the office was closed on the 31st the office manager rang me from home. The offer was accepted. Though out the whole process Marian Gilhooly constantly kept in touch with updates. She was supportive, encouraging when things slowed down and incredibly helpful and professional. I don’t think that anything was too much trouble for her , she simply could not do enough for us. We are looking forward to receiving the keys to our new home next week and also looking forward to seeing Marian again.
