GoogleStill waiting for payment from letting department, tenants moved in 2 weeks ago. Ignoring my mails. Rented with them a couple of years and it was a bad experience. It was silly of me to go with them again. They are all over you to get the business but then not so great at payment or communication once they've got youNegativeQuality

GoogleI cannot speak highly enough of the service I have received from Jake in the Mortgage department. He has been thorough, communicative, helpful, professional and highly knowledgeable. He has been forward in getting things moving and not letting anything sit around. I always get the feeling that as days pass with nothing to do my end he is still working away at it his end. Even ahead of our meetings he is meticulously organised and makes sure we have everything we need in order to have a productive meeting that doesn't drag out longer than it needs to or with items unticked. I never feel like my requests are too much to ask and I am always able to get to speak to him whenever I need to, or his team are able to assist if he is not around. It seems they are all working together and everybody is in the loop there, which really helps. I am absolutely confident that the products I have chosen are perfectly suited to my needs, thanks to the thoroughness with which Jake has conducted his work. He is friendly and empathetic and has a genuine interest in my needs as a client. GoogleRented a flat with Connells in 2020. Communication was very poor throughout as they constantly called during the workday for pointless issues (like asking me to promote them to other people!) despite asking them not to as I am unable to answer the phone at work. They did not pass on my requests for renewing the lease to the landlady which led to me moving out. She later contacted me directly and said she would have been happy to keep me as a tenant and had never spoken to Connells about the issue. She had also been told they'd inspected my flat when they had not. They also kept my deposit and rent I was owed for around two months and ignored all communications, only responding when I started a formal investigation with the deposit scheme protection service. This was around £1000 which led to financial difficulties for myself. If I hadn't chased it they would absolutely have stolen it!

GoogleMatt showed us around a house this weekend and was very professional. He Answered all our questions openly and he clearly had firm knowledge of the house. He was approachable and friendly without over pushing the sell, a much appreciated quality which made it a positive experience in what is often a stressful time. He is the first estate agent we’ve met whilst viewing houses that actually seemed to like his job and know what he was talking about!
