I have a property which is fully managed by JohnDWoods , they couldn't renew my contract due to sick leave of their employee , they cant solve my problem I have to reach to tenant by myself and trying to solve the issues , 20 days pasts the contract end date .

GoogleThe Esher office of this Surbiton headquartered lettings agency specialises in high-end property, handling tenancies of multinational corporates and HNW individuals - a demanding if not fickle end of the market where expectations run high. Accordingly, professional standards have to be top-notch and at the Esher office they most definitely are. The team is thoroughly versed in the specialist area of marketing and management of high value luxury homes. Perfection is expected. Landlords expect and in this case can be assured of receiving an exemplary service in the management of their assets, whilst tenants can be made to feel valued and very special. A tough balancing act and CHK Esher discharges its responsibilities efficiently and with aplomb. They deliver.

We arrived in Esher for the first time and Lesley met with us and quickly educated us about the area and letting opportunities in our budget. She then showed us properties and provided us with helpful information to consider about each. We ended up renting one property she showed us. Lesley is a delightful person, highly knowledgeable about the area, and earned our trust. We would highly recommend Lesley and CHK Mountford Esher.

GoogleGavin Fleming, Esher Office Manager, was a great ambassador for JDW. As a result of meeting him his team took control of the marketing and promotion of our daughter's property. Andrina Craig found the perfect buyer, someone who already knew the property and who was able to make a good offer which we accepted. GoogleI have rented from a large number of letting agents, and CHK Mountford (Esher) was, by-far, my best experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Whenever we contacted CHK we were met with friendly staff who remembered who were we, and dealt with our concerns/queries with open discussion and with a real sense of personal engagement. Through all stages of the tenancy, any queries were sorted quickly and information passed on without delay or error, and usually with a personal touch. The contractors CHK recommended were also brilliant, and did excellent work, which instilled trust. From our first viewing (with the very friendly, Harry) there was brilliant service which continued through all of our check-in/check-out logistics (managed smoothly and clearly by Catherine Harris), and even carried on after we had moved out, to tie up any loose ends. This made a time which can be a highly stressful, a lot easier. Unfortunate that we had to move out of the area so soon!

I rented a property which was managed by this company. The agents made promises they did not meet and the management agents are extremely poor. There was a flood and the information provided by the company turned out to be in accurate so they have refused to reimburse me for the hotel and all costs. I have had to instruct my lawyers to start a court process.

If I could give zero I will! Awful experience starting from when they gave me the keys and then literally disappeared! Then the inventory was totally different from what I found in the house and when I contacted them they said contact the landlord we can’t do anything! Glad that the landlord was cooperative. Now after leaving the house it took them 10 days to send me the inventory checkout and I called them everyday and they gave a different story every day! Now I have been chasing the deposit for 1 month! Literally awful experience, avoid at any cost.

GoogleBuying & selling a house can be a very daunting experience & some estate agents leave people wondering what they got for the fees that they paid for. Not so with J D Wood I can honestly say I chose wisely. From start to finish they were professional, efficient, honest all the way through they told me what to expect & I got it which to me was money well spent. Gavin, Andrina, Carole & Linda did a fabulous job at marketing my house & getting it sold. The photos were great & the video was also a great touch. I would obviously do your homework first as I did, having to choose from 5 Estate Agents in the end but I knew straight away when Gavin visited that I wanted to give my business to him. I would definitely recommend J D Wood they run a really professional service.

RUN AWAY FROM THEM!I have lived in many flats in London and never have I experienced such a terrible process. First of all, we wrote down a formal offer with 1 only requirement. After our offer was accepted and we payed one week worth of rent to secure the place, they tell us that specific requirement cannot be met. They took almost 3 weeks to make the landlord sign our contract, and it was voided TWICE so we had to re-sign the contract 3 times in total as they kept adding clauses to it. During the move in, we realise the flat had not been cleaned (and the contract stated everything had to be professionally cleaned, even curtains and sofas.....) but the flat was in an appalling state really. We asked for it to be cleaned again and we are still waiting..... Not to say that we are still waiting for the landlord to pay the inventory. The people in this agency are very rude and will treat you bad. One advice, never use this agency!!!
