Thank you to John Ramsay and The Personal Agent Team Stoneleigh, who helped us with the purchase of our very first home. John was great throughout the whole process; from viewings to completion, he was extremely helpful and quick to respond to all our queries. The team was also supportive and proactive when any issue arose, making all the relevant phone calls when necessary. We will definitely come back to them for future selling/buying properties.

There have been a couple of issues with the property, and Charlotte has been our contact and always keeps us updated with what’s happening. Bradley Snape went out of his way to secure us an early viewing and when we decided to move forward he was professional and patient with our questions. The follow up from Michelle Hobbs was equally good as has been the support from Kate Murphy since we moved in. We would thoroughly recommend this agency. They are all really easy to get on with and very quick to respond to any enquiries.

Her communication with all involved parties has made our experience of letting and meeting all of the challenges we faced with an insurance claim very smooth and effortless. All of the personal agent team have been very helpful, and they have always been clear about what is happening and how things are going to be addressed. We really do feel that we are in safe hands, and we highly recommend their services from purchase to property management.

Andrew came to our house on a Wednesday to value it and by Friday had 16 viewings arranged for the Saturday.Absolutely amazed at that as there was no time to take photos or advertise it.Dan was dealing with us and gave an excellent service. Professional, communicative and really on the ball.Suzi did the viewings and again she too was professional, friendly and we knew our house was in good hands.We were offered asking price by a buyer with no chain on the Monday. We had a very good experience with The Personal Agent, Stoneleigh. Paul kept us informed throughout and the whole process from beginning to end was handled in a professional and courteous manner. Paul shone through on 'exchange' day when things started looking a bit wobbly due to various reasons at the top of the chain, but all worked out well in the end. We have no hesitation in recommending The Personal Agent to others.

I was out of contract with Personal Agent, Epsom - they had been trying to sell my flat for over a year. I got a call from Adam Latter, the chap that was managing the sale. We had - today - put it on with another, smaller, local agent and Adam tried to tell me that we had breached the contract. Which we hadn't! We were perfectly within our rights to put the flat on with whoever we wanted. We had - after the initial 3 months (last October) - a multi-agency agreement. We had sold this flat back in March (this year) and Adam managed that negotiation. His handling of that deal was abhorrent. He seemed more interested in the buyer than the vendor and tried to force us (bully us) into taking a lesser offer that we couldn't afford.My advice to Adam and all that may have learnt from him is to always put the vendor first - above the buyer, above your commission and above your own 'personal' opinion. The vendor is your client when selling a property - they should be your priority. It wasn't the case with us.Adam told us on this call that he was 'stepping back' for our own good. That's rubbish! He was just too inadequate a salesman to sell our property. My advice to Adam and others - if you make a mistake then own up to it and face it - don't run away from it. How dare he treat people this way? How dare he question my integrity when he was in the wrong? Personal Agent are supposed to be the best estate agent in Epsom and the local area - that's why we went with them. That's why we agreed to their high fees. Well, I'm here to tell you that, if you get Adam overseeing your sale I'd think twice before committing to it. Disgusted and disappointed from Epsom.Having read the response - it is simply not true. We have been with two agents since last October - the one that is directly opposite your branch! We even joked about the friendly rivalry that would ensue. We had concluded the three months sole trader agreement. This response is not good enough. Once again, my integrity is being brought into doubt. Shameful!
Dear Alan, Naturally we are extremely disappointed to receive your review and apologise that you feel so aggrieved. We have checked the agreement we have on file and we only appear to have a sole agency agreement. Whilst the sole agency period has expired, the agreement asks for a notice period should any client wish to withdraw or swap to a multiple agency. To our knowledge we had not received a call from you, to advise you were instructing another agent. Adam has been with the company for a number of years and has never received such poor feedback, so we are naturally concerned by your feedback and will be looking into the matter further. Adam’s suggestion to ‘step back’ was because he advised it does not look good if a property is advertised with multiple agents at once and we did not feel it would be beneficial for either of us. As you are aware we are a small local business and negative reviews do nothing to rectify any issue, so we would welcome an open dialogue to understand what we can do to put things right? We totally understand the stressful position you are in at present, and assure you no malice or distress was ever intended. We’re equally sorry we were unable to sell your property again, but wish you all the best for the future.
