I received excellent service and advice by Paul and Simon at Butler & Stag's Bow office to let a property. Simon found a client on the first day of viewings, arranged access to the property for repairs before the client moved in, and was also kind enough to move an item to the front porch to be taken away as I was unable to schedule it myself. Their property management team has continued to provide excellent service after the tenant moved in. I highly recommend the lettings team at Butler & Stag.

I've been renting out a property in Bow since May 2021. Every member of the B&S team I've dealt with has offered outstanding service. Their communication skills are excellent and all jobs are carried out efficiently, in a timely fashion. It's extremely rare to use a company and find that you have absolutely no complaints, but this is the case with B&S. This means that the whole experience has been stress free. I can confidently recommend them to any landlords present or future.

GoogleWe saw the cottage in March, made an offer that was accepted a few days later, then the most awful conveyancing months started with solicitor after solicitor making mistakes, delaying matters , months later we have finally exchanged contracts. Two people is this awful process were very very good, one of them being Charlie Parsons @ Butler ?& Stagg. He was clam, efficient, listened to others when best and kept all in touch as much was possible. I have moved 4 times , bought other properties and this period was the most stressful/difficult I have ever had to endure. Charlie really helped, I have lost count the times I have spoken to him, he always came back when he said he would, good guy.

GoogleB&S sold my property professionally and with very responsive communication which I like. They were always there quickly to discuss things and give me strong advice. My property was non-standard as it was timber framed however they have good experience with this and I believe that their access to the London market helped get the sale. In the final week when paperwork issues arose from the solicitors, they were on it every day and pushing hard to make the completion happen. Well done team!PositiveResponsiveness

I called the company on two occasions and explained that I was interested in viewing the one bed Bungalow (Madells) which is currently on the sales market and left all of my details yet no one has had the courtesy of returning my call. Very disappointing service.

The seller (a developer) requested that the property be left available for sale, as the purchaser was progressing slower than reasonably expected. This was explained to you at the time. A day later the property exchanged and has subsequently completed. Apologies that it wasn't meant to be on this one, we will of course keep you posted with other suitable properties. Very underwhelmed by their service, called into their Theydon Bois office last Saturday 28/5 only to be told they had no one to speak to me regarding a property they had for sale. The receptionist (only one in the office as far as I could tell) took my phone No and email address and assured me someone would contact me the following Monday nobody bothered to contact me! I feel they must be doing really well when they can afford to leave their office virtually unmanned on what could be their busiest day for walk in trade, more so if they can let a prospective buyer slip through their fingers, I've also a property to sell so that's another lot of commission they probably don't want either

Several road closures and mass crowds meant that our viewing customers and staff were delayed for significant periods throughout the day. GoogleDONT USE. Butler and stag allowed my flatmate to steal my deposit and did nothing about it when they said it would be protected. Not only this, they are extremely unreliable and have lied on multiple occasions. Protect yourself and don’t use this lying establishment

To release the deposit at the end of the tenancy the lead tenant or the agent should submit a 'Request for repayment' by logging in to their DPS Custodial account. The deposit was released to the lead tenant as is the standard process. This has been explained to you by our property management team and we have offered further advice to help resolve the matter.
