Acting in the capacity as a solicitor/executor I instructed Craig Thompkins of Martyn Gerrard in the sale of the deceased's property which has just been completed. The service I received from Craig and his colleagues was of the highest order and they went out of their way to help with many of the administrative needs which arose. I wish I could write similarly about other Estate Agents who have acted on my instructions on previous matters.

I don’t usually write reviews but the experience was soo bad I felt I had to. Awful staff, not sure about other branches but Muswell hill branch is a nightmare. Avoid using them if you can. Complete lack of communication, you have to chase them non stop to get any answers. Once you’ve paid they’re not interested in anything else. Didn’t deliver on anything that was set out. If I could give 0 stars I would.

As potential tenants we had very negative experience. Initially Nadia didn't even know the price of the property when we came to see the place and it sounded as if she was trying to suggest that we place an offer 'and the best wins' when we talked on the phone. It felt as if we were invited to an Ebay auction. When landlady accepted our offer we were told by agency that after paying deposit we had 24hrs to complete all the paperwork and if not we would loose the deposit. After us raising this as a concern we were vaguely assured that it could be potentially extended to 48 hrs but nothing was actually explicitly confirmed. We went through nightmarish chain of emails with 3 people involved. We could not access documents properly before paying and our plea for more transparency and literally few days more (we were happy to pay the deposit on the day but wanted confirmation that we would be given more time for the paperwork) to deal with it was rejected. We were dealt with bluntly and in arrogant manner. Very disappointing experience, considering we were not refusing to pay just asking for reasonable timeframe to complete the process.

A tale of two sides really. With regards to our sale. I do not believe we got a single offer from a show around that I was not myself present during. That being said I do not feel we would have got our move across the line with out the amazing support we received from Sophie, who was equally lovely and professional.

Absolutely terrible.Historically i had both purchased and let properties via Martyn Gerrard with outstanding service, so much so I had recommended them to so many people for all sides, purchase, sales, rentals etc.A shame they could not retain their high levels of service years later.Now all i can say is what a shambles, the extremely poor service, poor tradesman they provide, failing to make payments, I could go on for a while here.I would never use Martyn Gerrard again, my issues are still ongoing with zero resolutions and all i can say is they have lost a customer they had for life previously.
