Throughout this period Ross has provided excellent information, advice & attention concerning various issues, the market, and our expectations. GoogleMy husband and I recently rented a property through Barnfields Enfield, where Rula was our key point of contact. From our first phone-call, to our viewing and right the way through to us collecting the keys on move-in day, we were very impressed at her level of professionalism and how friendly and approachable she was. Even with my many MANY questions over email, I always received prompt, friendly replies and felt like nothing was too much trouble. In particular, we were really pleased at how she handled the viewing during national lockdown - we were asked to wear gloves and a mask, as she also did. She guided us around the house giving us plenty of space, opening all doors/cupboards/windows at our request so that we could remain safe and compliant to the restrictions, and made sure we knew as much about the house as possible. Rula was an absolute pleasure to deal with, I would highly recommend anyone renting privately in the Enfield area to speak to her.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

GoogleI can't praise the team at Barnfields enough. We had a particularly bad experience with our buyer's solicitor who was utterly unresponsive and slow. Michael worked tirelessly to push both transactions through (the selling and the buying) and I can honestly say that had it not been for his huge efforts we would not have completed. Michael was incredibly hard working, responsive and pursued the best interests of all parties throughout. Always professional, polite and firm when he needed to be, he made a real difference to the outcome. I am not new to dealing with estate agents and can honestly say that the entire team was incredibly impressive. We have had a lot of bad experiences in the past with destate agents but we can honestly say that we were able to put our trust in Michael and his team. GoogleI had a good experience buying with Barnfields - so when I came to sell my property, it felt natural to put it on the market with them... and oh-my-goodness!!! In summary - lazy, disorganised, unprofessional... I put my property on with them - I should have twigged when the particulars they had drafted used negative language and were full of spelling errors. The 1st sentence wasn't even a sentence! I ended up detail proof-reading it and sending it back - and then reviewing the corrections - Which was still done incorrectly! They never followed up on viewings - I had to call them every time. When I complained, they apologised and promised that it wouldn't happen again - and it happened again on the very next viewing. I eventually got an offer. They then failed to collect details of the buyer. I chased weekly. Every time I called, I spoke to a different person who had a different version of events. They clearly don't talk to each other and don't keep their "online system" up-to-date. The purchaser eventually disappeared - and no explanation was ever given. Their tactic to increase viewings through the door was always simply "lower the price"... Eventually I went to another local agent - who made Barnfields look like amateurs. I completed and sold my house with the other estate agents. Quite humorously - 1 week after completion - I received a call from Barnard Marcus' HQ (recent purchasers of Barnfields) who were reviewing Barnfields' data who wanted to ask me whether I was still interested in selling my property since Barnfields "did a valuation of it a year ago"??? I guess this lack of detail in their online systems explains how no one knew anything!!!

Photographs were horrific, the description was negatively worded and it just felt like they weren't even trying. I have found another estate agent who is experienced, honest and is keen and confident in selling our property. Other vendors I have spoken to have said EXACTLY the same as me in regards to Barnfield's attitude. AVOID!!!!

We were also thrilled that they were able to get us a mortgage, after previous problems and we could not recommend them high enough!!
