GoogleWe had an extremely good experience with Bernard Skinner. The service was very professional and we were updated on a weekly basis, and received all correspondence promptly. In particular, we were pleased with the service provided by Steven Pender, who was the negotiator for our sale; Steven is a highly experienced estate agent, who offered sound advice and steered us successfully through the process.

Our sale was a difficult one born from the lost of our dear Mum but through out we were treated with compassion and kept constantly updated. GoogleHaving used Skinners previously to sell my Fathers house I didn't hesitate to use them for selling my own despite living a little out of SE9 just into SE12. Just like before the service was exemplary. Despite my chain above not being the easiest to deal with! Skinners and Amanda in particular left no stone unturned and made sure we were always kept up to date and that the rest of the chain were also kept informed. I'm not sure without them we would ever have actually exchanged as they went above and beyond what you would expect. Feedback after viewings was also quick and honest. If you are in or around the local area and wish to sell, don't go anywhere else, professional, timely, a personal service from the whole team (we are now on first name terms!) and there is a clear reason they are the longest established and best regarded estate agent in Eltham. GoogleI have sold my house with Bernard Skinner and I can certainly recommend their services. They have involved me in decision and strategy on how to approach pricing the house, they have been on top of organising everything and informing me all along the way about the viewings and offers, they supported me in finding new house and in judging how to approach offer making, they have kept control over progress with solicitors, and on the day coordinated all the final actions. They went beyond of what I expected, and it was really nice to be always recognised by my name, whenever I called.

GoogleAbsolute fraudsters and time wasters if you ask me, failed to properly disclose the property they were offering was in a council building and that as a result I would never be getting a mortgage, not to mention they put all this on me and managed to waste 2 weeks of my time for nothing. Shame!

I also have notes on our file which shows my colleague had in fact made enquiries on your behalf with the local authority to establish the percentage of council tenants still residing in the block, the findings of which we passed on to your mortgage broker. I am also sorry that you has wasted two weeks of your time. I can reassure you that this would not have been our intention and as I am sure you would understand, from a business point of view we wouldn't want to waste two weeks of our time either. GoogleMoving after 63 years living in the same house could be considered brave or stupid, but either way the team at Bernard Skinner made the whole process much easier. Sam and the whole team were amazing, efficient and caring. They kept a keen eye on the move, keeping us well informed, chasing things up when needed. We would recommend anybody to use them, they were brilliant.

GoogleIt’s a bit weird when I was calling to book a viewing on a property. At the time I am both thinking of buying a buy-to-let property and moving home. The staff answering the call just said you seemed unsure about your financial situation… and hanged up the call so I couldn’t view the property! It’s the first time I came across this since I had viewed and purchased properties in London.

This was not an easy sale and there were difficulties throughout. Steven worked so hard, he was professional throughout, dealing with the buyer, their Solicitors and my solicitors. I understand this is his job but it was the manner in which he dealt with the sale that was outstanding. They are retired people and have lived in their property for 50 years so it was always going to be emotional but the kindness and consideration shown to them throughout, made a difficult period so much easier.
