I have dealt with several members of the Umega Lettings team since I handed them my flat to rent 6-7 years ago. Everyone I have dealt with has been incredibly easy to deal with. It’s good to have a property manager who knows me and my flat well, but I enjoy dealing with other members of the team when I hear from them too! Hopefully when I move on to my next house (2016?!) I can hang onto my current flat and pass this to Umega to manage too.

Would never rent with umega no matter how desperate I was for a home. So so unprofessional to deal with, took weeks to get anything sorted/fixed, we lived in our flat a few months before our small bathroom became very damp, we had asked for a fan to be fitted however got an extremely rude response on Xmas eve telling us to just keep the window open and it was our own fault even though the flat had previous damp issues. Also ended up living with no hot water in our bathroom & kitchen taps for over 3 weeks, unhygienic and a nightmare constantly boiling our kettle to wash dishes. At the checkout it was no surprise they were Ruder than ever, we were charged £60 for a heater we didn't use once and a heater cover that seemed to have broke after the checkout, -our fault of course! Useless, rude & untrustworthy Would NEVER rent with them ever again.

Great customer services and very quick responses from Umega Lettings! Happy that I have dealt with best letting agents Edinburgh as the expert answered all my queries, as well assisted for the issue for best property management in Edinburgh. As I was not aware of the rules, the team handled everything from repair, renovation to getting the best tenant for my property. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Umega Lettings!

I have moved to Ediburgh recently and was looking out for an apartment near my office and after going through multiple viewings I had almost lost hope that I would ever get any decent apartment near my office. Then I got a call from Umega and they came up with an apartment which was just 4 minutes walk from my office was reasonably priced and with all the amenities which a person ask for. The agency was quick in responding to queries and advising on how to go about with the process of booking the apartment. I am highly satisfied with the agency and would recommend them to everyone who is planning to move to Edinburgh.

As a (very busy!) mother of 2 I needed a letting agent I could trust. I was referred Umega by my sister-in-law and have to say that I have been incredibly impressed over the past 3 years. As much as I don’t want to have to get a sink unblocked at my wee flat, it’s actually very nice hearing from the Umega team as they are a chirpy bunch who put a smile on my face and its reassuring to hear they’re on top of things. Photos after inspections are a great idea. Means I don’t have to visit. Thanks guys

I had a terrible experience with this letting agency.When I joined the property, the manager mentioned that they are planning to change the carpet as it was old and there was a big cut on one side.I kept chasing them for a couple of weeks and it never happened .Again there was a lot of unwanted stuff in the store room and told them to clear it off, I kept chasing for a couple of months but it never happened .Suddenly one day ( In the month of November) the boiler stopped working and there was no hot water and heating facilities in the flat. I immediately turn up and mentioned about the issues in the flat, there was no immediate action and I kept chasing them to fix the problem. I clearly mentioned that how we (including a 11months old baby) were suffering without the hot water and heaters in the freezing cold winter. Worst part from their side is they were least bothered about us and we’re NOT given any temporary heaters.Finally, they took about 7days to fix the issue.

We rented the same flat through Umega Lettings for five years and our dealings with them have always been excellent. In spite of the Agency being such a busy one, we always felt that we received a friendly and personal service. Nikki Moore has, especially, been so helpful to us. Living in an older flat and renting for some time, there were a few maintenance issues but they were always dealt with promptly and efficiently. Now that we have our own place, we are already missing Nikki’s assistance! We simply cannot fault Umega and based on our dealings with Nikki, would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Umega have managed my flat for over 3 years and have done a fantastic job. They keep me posted with any issues tenants' have had and always resolved these quickly. They have always 'pre marketed' the flat after tenants' gave notice, resulting in my property never being vacant for more than 2 days. They are easy to deal with and respond to requests very quickly. They advise when rents should be increased between tenancy. A great service at a very reasonable rate.

I've used Umega letting for 3 years as the letting agent for my flat and they are efficient and effective at managing any problems. The property I let was my home and I intend to return eventually if work allows so it was important to me that I found a good agent to help look after my property. My tenant has remained the same for the 3 years so I can assume that they must be happy with the service too.
