GoogleMy partner and I rent our current flat through Umega Lettings. The entire process of signing the contract was smooth and we received help when we needed it. When something in the flat needs a fix, they're very quick with replying to our emails and sending contractors to take care of the issue. The people at Umega are nice and efficient.

FacebookNo issues until it came to claiming back deposit. Minor cleaning issues noted by the estate agent and we agreed to cleaning reduction assuming would be small amount for a couple hours. Charged £200. Ridiculous as would have required 2-3 hours maximum. Additionally had added value to the flat we rented by building a built in wardrobe with landlord permission. No offer of cash or even a thanks for this. Will be strongly advising anyone against using Umega.

GoogleI just moved in a property let my Umega. The letting process was transparent. The letting negotiators that I've encountered were super friendly and helpful. I've asked plenty of questions in person, by phone and email, and they all got well answered. The property was so clean the day I moved in. A lovely experience to rent with them!

GoogleToday marks a new phase in our life with tenants taking possession of our flat. In my opinion, Umega lettings have been a huge disappointment. For instance, I have heard of them jeopardising their tenant’s health with an unsafe property containing aluminium wiring, which, when assessed by an electrician, was found to be a fire risk. In that situation, the work done to rectify the issue caused yet more health concerns, no formal risk assessments were conducted and an excessive amount of dust was all over the property. A tenant with asthma was left with breathing problems and I believe that Umega’s lack of urgency is completely irresponsible.

GoogleThe best letting agent I’ve used. A really simple process to secure the flat and I had no issues during my 12 month tenancy. The communication and responsiveness from the staff was great when needed and I will be using Umega again if I move back to Edinburgh!

GoogleUmega Lettings were highly recommended to me when I first sought to let out my property. They did not disappoint! From the outset Umega were professional, punctual, knowledgeable and able to assist with any queries I had. Umega provided all the necessary checks and certificates required and were able to facilitate this quickly and efficiently which made the process totally stress free. Umega's marketing was fantastic, it was less than a month from first being advertised to having a tennant moved in. I am delighted with the service provided by Umega so far, I feel that my property is in safe hands and I look forward to working with them for a long time to come.

We are so delighted that we get to stay with them, as they are truly fantastic to work with. They are kind, responsive, and get the job done when you need something. While looking for new properties, we've come in contact with other agencies in Edinburgh, and they hold nothing to Umega. Delighted to continue our tenancy with the team!
