GoogleHad to change my review as have lived in an Umega flat now for 2 years - we were without heating or hot water for over three weeks in December/January and there is still a hole in our ceiling from the "repairs!" Also they had the audacity to chase me for full rent for that month. I was given a good reference from them (probably to get me out of their flats because I knew my rights!) so have given 2 stars.
Hey Lauren, thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear things slipped latterly. I've had a look into the situation and I understand that the landlord instructed us to use his own contractor who visited the property on numerous occasions to reset the boiler which intermittently broke down. Apparently the root of the problem was finally traced to a communal pipe so things were passed over to the property factor to rectify. In retrospect we should have got our own trades people in to make sure the job was completed to our standard so I can only apologise for this. We'll learn not to rely on landlord's preferred contractors at all times if they're not keeping up to our high standards. I wish you the best of luck in your new home :)

GoogleUmega lettings is one of the easiest and professional letting agents i have ever dealt with. The application and move in process was so easy and I was lucky enough to deal with Caitlin through this. Caitlin answered all my questions and really helped me settle in to my new flat with confidence. I would definitely recommend Umega and Caitlin to anyone looking to rent a property as they are a company you can trust to deliver a great service.

GoogleI could not be happier with the service Umega have provided me with. I was so worried that the process of letting out my flat would be stressful and complicated but between Mohammad and Emily, it's been so straightforward and clear from the start. Both have kept in contact with me throughout the process and have guided me on everything I need to be aware of and keep track of at all times. They've made what I thought would be a headache so simple and I can't thank them enough for all their help! I know my flat will be good hands with Umega.

GoogleMy husband and I have had the best experience with Umega Lettings and feel Danielle, Lauren, Caitlin and the rest of the team have been absolutely amazing through out our tenancy. We had lots of help with getting the flat and after that we could contact them anytime of the day. Not only they did help us with everything we needed but they are also the most lovely and professional that is so refreshing to come by these days! Thank you so so much!

GoogleI was with Umega lettings around 3 year in Edinburgh. For any issues and help most of the time I am touch with staff 'Nikki'. She was very wonderful, supportive and helpful during my stay in the property. She made my exist very simple and haven't lost much deposit for the damage of the property. Umega Lettings is a very good and excellent in managing and maintaining the property with their routine checks (alarms, boiler, electricity, etc.). They got a very good maintenance team (David). Thanks to Umega Lettings for the opportunity to stay in there selected property. I wish them good luck in near future. GoogleUmega is a great letting agency to rent through. From start to finish the process has been really easy and I haven’t had one issue with them. I was provided with all safety certificates for the property prior to moving in and the property was clean and tidy. GoogleWe rented through Umega for just over 2 1/2 years. Very positive experience. The moving in period was straightforward and throughout our tenancy we had a specific property manager (Nikki) who was very quick to respond to and resolve any issues we had. Moving out was also straightforward: as they managed found someone else to rent the property, we were not required to pay the full 2 months notice period. Also advised us on any issues as to how we'd left the property to allow us to go back in and resolve them to ensure the deposit was returned.

GoogleI have been super impressed with all the team at Umega. From asking for a free property evaluation to having tenants move in, they have been super efficient, friendly, professional and helpful. The process itself is quite involved (because of all the legal requirements etc) and could seem a bit overwhelming but the Umega team have made everything go smoothly. It's clear that they are strict when taking on new staff members that everyone is very service-minded. It's been a pleasure to work with all the team. Thank you!
