GoogleVery professional and responsive service! William was our relationship manager who maintained great communication throughout our rental and answered any queries we had. We just wanted to say thank you to Umega for their ongoing assistance throughout our first rental as a couple. FacebookJust rented with Umega and the process was super smooth. The tenancy team was very responsive to all issues and ensured that the transition went smoothly; especially Flora Bruce. We detected an early fault with the shower and we had the team work on it promptly. Credit to Maciej Walachowski who delivered the job professionally. GoogleUmega seem to be one of the best Edinburgh letting agents! Although we could not proceed due to family circumstances, they were so compassionate and accommodating for our situation (which is really rare in estate agencies!) The 2 Rebeccas in particular were really lovely too and open and honest. If things change for us we will definitely be going back through Umega! :) Very responsive and seem to genuinely care about tenants as well as landlords. :)

Awful experience. I've lived in many properties before and have gotten my full despot back several times. Umega took control of the property I was living in during the last few months of my tenancy. Apon my final inspection they made several notices about damage and cleanliness. They assumed the condition of the flat was perfect when I got it and didn't think to ask the landlord for the initial inventory/condition of flat. I have rejected their claims and have sent a detailed email with pictures. Comments on their report did not match pictures i.e. copy and paste job from past inspections. Walls that were freshly painted were reported as covered in marks, mattresses that were never used classed as worn. Joke of a company and after speaking to several friends, I discovered similar experiences!

Josh, thanks for feedback back and for sharing your experience. As we took this property on mid-tenancy we had to report back our findings based on the information we had and the condition we found the property in. We reported the condition as we found it, which required remedial works to bring it up to the standard we required for the next tenancy. Our initial report to you allows your to come back with a response so that we can take this to the landlord for discussion. Nothing has yet been charged to your deposit and we are certainly not in the habit of charging tenants unfairly or unnecessarily. We simply look to share information transparently to all parties involved.

GoogleI had a great experience from the start with excellent follow up and double checking throughout. Highly recommend. A little disappointed that no one handed over the property in person as I had issues with heating and had to call the office. This was followed up immediately.
