Franklin was a gem. They made sure to learn my pet bunnies names (Lady Danbury and Lord Ledger) and always addressed them by them. He never mixed them up once! He was a little slow getting the shower fixed but it got done.

Finding a new place to rent, especially when moving from London to Edinburgh can be nerve-racking (and it was for me). I have a history of really (really, really) bad experiences with agencies and to be honest I was afraid they were all the same. Luckily, Umega proved me wrong, and they did it during a global pandemic! I am so grateful for the how smooth (and fast) the whole process was. Many thanks to Lindsay and Rebecca (and the whole team) for their quick responses and problem solving, on point advice and professionalism. Looks like getting a new home doesn't have to be a painful experience!

I had a fantastic experience with Claire Smith when I approached Umega to let my property out. As a new landlord Claire helped to ease all of my concerns and addressed my many many questions in a professional and relatable way. Claire really did take the stress out of letting my property and always made sure she was available for me to contact her at any time should I need to throughout the day. I'd have been lost without her! Claire ensured the process was pain free and as smooth as possible. Claire made it an excellent experience for me from start to finish.

My experience with Umega Lettings was for the viewing of several flats as a future tenants, in several occasions. Rebecca, Lucy and Kim were simply amazing! They were friendly, smiling, helpful, honest and reliable. Once I asked if I could come viewing earlier because I had an appointment, and Rebecca was there 10 minutes before (even if it was very early in the morning) only to help me with this. They are also very responsive to any question by e-mail and communication was very quick. Even if I do not have experience with them as a tenant, I have no doubt that they are amazing also from this point of view.

I contacted Umega regarding a property me and my family wanted to rent for a short move to Edinburgh. My inquiry was handled by Krystian Kawecki. He was extremely helpful and polite! He was always available and responded quickly to any questions that I had. I am very satisfied with the way that he and the Umega team handled my case, even though at the end, for purely personal reasons, I did not rent an apartment through them. The only negative comment that I have for Umega, which to be fair applies to almost all UK renting agencies that I contacted, is that in order to apply for a property, one must prepay a significant amount, usually equal to one month's rent, with the possibility that the application will be rejected. However, to the credit of Umega, my deposit was quickly and without delays returned.

Recently started renting from Umega and they’ve been an amazing company to work with. Had quite a few problems with our flat which we didn’t expect to encounter, however our contacts from Umega (mainly Erin Whyte from Upod 4) have always been very friendly and quick to respond to any of our emails and phone calls. All repairs needed have been carried out almost instantly, especially considering the current circumstances. Having seen other friends in Edinburgh have major issues with a lack of communication from other companies, I feel really lucky to have found such a great company and team of people. From the beginning when we were enquiring about the flat, Emily Hazlitt was incredibly helpful in answering all our unending questions! Definitely recommend renting from Umega 😊

Friendly staff and great service at Umega

I was a tenant with Umega for a few months as they took over from my previous Agency until the end of my tenancy. The process of switching over was really easy, and communication was great throughout. Umega staff were always very helpful and friendly. End of tenancy process was also relatively easy and simple, and again, communication was great. Special shout-out to Isla and Ben who were brilliant.
