This is just to say Thank You to both Ben and Nikki. I had an emergency issue with a leak. It was outwith Umeg's office hours and no one from their emergency team came to help. When I spoke with Nikki and Ben in the morning within their office hours they were both a great help. Everything is now getting fixed and they couldn't have been anymore apologetic on behalf of the emergency team. I appreciate what the both of them have done to help.

05/03/2023: I've been liaising with Umega in order to rent a property in Edinburgh, the process has been very smooth and professional, and they (Francesca) have been very quick to respond to queries and to complete actions at all times. Looking forward to moving in tomorrow. 05/06/2023 Update: Moved in and settled quite nicely. Umega have been great and bother-less. First need of repairs was today due to a leak in the bath coming down into the kitchen. Liaised with Umega and they got an engineer out that afternoon, I went to watch and he was done within 30 minutes, re-sealed the bath panels too, cannot tell he had been there. Altogether very quick, professional service. 05/06/2024 Update: Been a while, and I'm shifting my review from 5 stars to 2. Last August I told Umega that the TV aerial doesn't work, that took over 9 months to get fixed. Also told them 3 times that this apartment doesn't get internet, but so far that's not their problem. Communications are poor, with inept, lazy, and changing contact points. Standard for the industry, yes, but still bad service. They also require communications through a 3rd party portal which is good for not having a record of interactions, accountability. When there are leaks or threats to property damage then they are fast to act. When problems relating to the discomfort of the tenant are reported, they don't care.

I have rented from Umega for a year now and I am honestly so grateful for the help and professionalism of this company. Whenever I have an issue in the flat it is quickly resolved, and I mean super quick. They ensure the building is kept to a high standard by continuously having people come out to maintain the upkeep. I usually go to Georgia whenever I have a concern as she is amazing at her job and is always quick to seek a resolution. She is incredibly friendly and a true credit to her team.

Umega managed the letting of our flat for a number of years and we were very pleased with the service and responsiveness, especially as we had by that stage little contact in Edinburgh. They were particularly helpful with organising repairs which can be challenging. When we subsequently decided to sell the flat we chose them as our selling agents. The liaison between the letting department and the sales department was very good so that when we had a major water leak just as the sale process started their letting department handled the repair very effectively to get the flat ready for the sales department. The sale was handled very efficiently and we appreciated the company's flexibility and ability to handle our personal requirements. We were particularly pleased with the level of communication with us by Daniel of their sales team. We were fortunate that Umega found a buyer very quickly and introduced us to solicitors who were responsive and ensured that the sale was completed without issue or delay.

Dear Umega, We rented 114/5 Viewforth through you for just over 2 years. Our initial experience was one of bewilderment and confusion. For example, we have never worked a combi boiler and our Umega handlers were none the wiser too. However, this all changed when we came into contact with Eleonora Vacca. Ms Vacca proved to be both reliable and punctilious. She answered our emails and requests immediately, and no task was ever beyond here ability to manage or advise us on what we needed to do. She was even able to give us a full break down, with contact details, on how to deal with our mouse problem. Moreover, her knowledge of rentals and flat management is exceptional. She could tell us exactly where the stopcock in the flat was when we had to turn off the water mains, for instance. Our urgent request was responded to immediately. I hope Umega appreciates Eleonora Vacca's diligence and professionalism in her engagement with renteers like us, and we would like to thank her through you for making our stay in Viewforth a pleasant one and for enabling our transition to our new home to be both smooth and free of unnecessary hassles.
