GoogleI am a new tenant with Northwood as I just rented a new flat. I have to say that after I saw the flat, I checked the reviews for this agency and some of them made me sceptical if I should proceed to rent with them. However, the professionalism of Lewis, who showed me the flat and really helped me to get it quickly, made me think that I should give a chance (the flat was amazing too), as mistakes maybe were made in the past, but the company is trying its best to get better. If anything changes, I will update this review as I believe reviews are very important for everyone. As someone which also just ended a tenancy and started a new one, always but always take photos and videos of the property and communicate via emails with everyone to have proofs.

GoogleI met with property manager Lewis Mallen after a couple of disappointing meet ups with other companies. He was very professional and answered all my questions. The onboarding process with the tenant was smooth and quick. While finalizing the tenant's move in, I've dealt with several people from the Northwood office and never once did I have to go over anything twice. It is truly a team effort and everything was handled within hours. GoogleWould not recommend. Ridiculous over charge for a rented property. The cleaning fees at the end are also over way over the top, especially when the flat was not clean in the first place when I moved in.

Generally very worthwhile using an agent. They provide detailed summaries of their visits including actions for tenants / landlords, and resolve any problems quickly . One time I had to chase them for rent, and they had not chased the tenant for their late payment until I brought it to their attention, but overall a good service.

GoogleI would recommend Northwood as a letting agent. They have been transparent and helpful throughout the process. I have had no problems or issues . I am about 6 months into letting out my relatives property and whilst the reason for letting the property was emotional and upsetting the help I experienced from Northwood was excellent.

GoogleAs a landlord, I have used Northwood for several years now. I have always found them to be helpful and efficient. They engage with tenants and conduct property inspections regularly where any faults are identified. They also engage with the tenants for the annual gas safety inspection and arrange access.

GoogleI've been with Northwood just shy of 3 years. They have aided me in everyway possible. I recently purchased a property that I was renting from them and they were extremely supportive. One would think that renters would get nasty about this, but not Northwood. Supportive, respectful, replies all the time. Amazing top nouch service.

GoogleIncredibly inept staff who promise to send forms right after the phone call only to need repeated call backs with reminders over several days to actually send it. By this point the property had already gone. Save your time and go somewhere else.

I have taken time to look into the timeline of your application. When you initially requested an application we were experiencing IT issues. You followed up the following morning at which point one of our team shared an application form along with a video of the property by e-mail. You were quick to respond with a completed application form and we acknowledged that this had been received and shared with the owner of the property. Unfortunately the owner had a number of applications to consider and asked us to proceed with a stronger applicant. I can see from e-mail correspondence that we have provided you with as much detail as we can regarding their decision process. I am sorry you were unsuccessful in securing this let, however having reviewed the circumstances I do not agree that the team were 'inept' and I have found you were offered a fair opportunity of securing the property.

GoogleI can't believe how little this agency cares about clients. Last November we were interested in a flat to rent and we stayed to see it and nobody showed up, we wasted our time and they didn't even pick up the phone afterwards. A few days ago they called me to see an apartment today and they told me that the same morning they would call me to ask if I would come to the appointment. No one has called me so I decided to send an email myself. I asked if the appointment was still standing, to which I was answered that the property was no longer available. I don't have to be behind an agency, I don't have to waste my time when it's its job. At the time the property was no longer available they should have contacted me to cancel the visit. I am not interested in any other property of this agency and more reading the opinions of other users managing problems in the apartments.

GoogleI am extremely happy with the way Northwood manage my property. They take away all the hassle, and are very friendly people to deal with. They always consult with regards to any spending, and provide their own contractors unless you want to use your own (I've always used their people, as I know they do a good job). I receive regular reports on the status of the property, which is great. On occasions when I have decided to upgrade the property (e.g. installing double glazing), they make all the arrangements for that, too. Fantastic! I love the service they provide.
