Please note that I do not give a 5 star rating lightly. The service I received from Mov8 was fantastic. Ben was polite, efficient and extremely good at his job. I received updates via email, the portal and more importantly by phone. I felt like a valued customer as Ben would call to explain exactly what was happening. Ben would then email or update the portal with this information as a backup. I have already recommended Mov8 and will continue to do so. Very Happy with the Professional service

What can i say about Mov8, except for a total professional company.We started selling the house just before the Covid lockdown add this to the fact that the house was in a disabled discretionary trust & its an older property with a lot more legal work than a newer build you can imagine the hassle this caused but they took it all in their stride, There was a few more legal fees than we were initially quoted for due to the fact my late mother didn't get a completion certificate for some minor work done to the house that the buyers solicitor wanted & having to track down the numerous deed to the house but we were kept informed at every stage to any extra costs & were happy to pay due to the work having to be done.The house sold really quickly in only a few weeks after the lockdown was lifted.I would not hesitate to recommend Mov8 or use them in the future.Big Shout Out to Stephen & the rest of the team who could not have been more helpful.

Avoid at all costs

I sold a flat in rental flat in Edinburgh while living in London and Mov8 came recommended for this, but turned out to be simply the worst customer service experience I have ever had. To detail their spectacular and repeated failures would take much too long, but here are a few highlights.1. Visited on more than 1 occasion and found the ceiling leaking but did not inform me, leading to the ceiling completely collapsing.2. Failed to sell the flat between September and July (minus a month for repairs). I came up and found a buyer myself in a week.3. My account admin left their employ and I was not informed until I tried to phone him and was told he had left.4. Tried to charge me for schedules which were never supplied.5. Lost track of my keys until the day of sale and had to direct the buyer to a boiler repair company who still had them. As you can imagine I didn't want the buyer to know about the repairs.1 star is 2 stars too many for this shower of utterly incompetent muppets.Update: Though the property is long since sold and our business mercifully concluded Mov8 have replied saying they would be in touch to discuss this review. That was 2 months ago, and still nothing. Kinda makes my point for me.

Jamie was fantastic. Very efficient, returned every call and had his work cut out for him dealing with a sale through separation. However, he was very patient but on the ball even when our sale fell through he had it back up online within 10 mins and sold within 24 hours again. Thank you Jamie and the team at Mov8.

I was due to market my property the week of lockdown in March 2020 , Mov8 kept in touch throughout and kept me up to date with the latest information. As soon as restrictions were lifted they were very proactive on helping me get the property on the market which was great as I found out the week of lockdown I was expecting! Erin was brilliant as soon as the property went live giving regular And timely updates. We went live on the Thursday evening and we had 4 offers and 35 viewing requests within 24 hours! The demand was crazy and we had to set a closing date by the Monday! Erin and the team we’re great at dealing with the demand and organising viewings around my busy schedule and filtering through the Prospective buyers as my house was using a low cost home ownership scheme. I’ve now been handed over to the conveyancing team and I have every faith that this area will go just as smooth based on my experience so far. Great experience and would recommend Mov8 to others! My house sold in less than a week on the market!

First time selling and buying a new house, I cannot recommend Mov8 enough, From the initial valuation, appointments were very flexible, Fraser was on time and knew his stuff about the area and did exactly what he said he would. At this point we were unsure if we were putting our property on the market, No pressure at all from Mov8 after valuation. I had a few other valuations and none were to the standard and Detail Mov8 did. We required everything done quickly which was no hassle for them, Pictures done and looked good, For Sale sign, I did request another which again was no problem and up within days. A special Thanks to Rachel Curran, our property Negotiator, having never done this before, we asked lots of question and were no problem for Rachel. Anytime I called to ask a question, I had Rachels direct number which I always got through to her on, if she was not in, she called back quickly. Our house sold within 14 days over Christmas and New year which was incredible, Viewings were made easy and Rachel spoke to us most days, on numerous times, she actually apologised for calling too much, however we thought it was great getting this much attention to detail from Rachel. If I ever sell or buy a house again, it will be with Mov8. Oh.. and they were cheaper than other quotes but gave a real 5 star service Thank you again, Ian

Super Efficient Process

My property sale has been just concluded. Mov8 made the whole process straight forward and super efficient. There is not a day wasted at any stage of the sale. Even during the lockdown period due to Covit 19, I was kept informed of any progress and the restrictions they were facing. Specific contact persons were assigned for me for pre-offer stage and the conveyancing stage, I am particularly grateful to two of the team members Louise Carr and Gavin Pearson who did a wonderful job at these two stages, they had been very responsive and helpful. Bunch of cowboys AVOID

Bunch of cowboys. Avoid. Waited a week for a call back from someone in the team that put an offer if interest in on a property. Office manager called back and investigated telling me that I was called back, no missed calls, no voicemail that apparently happened and no apology! New customer, sounds like great customer service. Would hate to see how a purchase would go if I went ahead. Roll the dice and try for yourself. I’d look elsewhere. Was told there really busy but what’s that got to do with my enquiry and you don’t think a week is long enough to have a follow up call?Tried calling direct line multiple times this week and nobody answers!

I went with mov8 for buying a new build property in the midst of the corona virus pandemic.Collette McFarlane worked day and night in order for me to move quickly. She had managed to get deeds written up, and my mortgage secured in place within 27 hours. We would definitely recommend Alan and Kim at MOV8. Both were very responsive with emails and always available to answer any questions we had (which was a lot).A lot of stress comes from purchasing a home, and the last thing you need is someone who isn't available, rude, and inpatient.
