From start to finish MOV8 have been fantastic! As first time buyers we were given all the guidance and assistance required to make the purchase of our home as simple as possible. Special thanks to Daniel McSorley who answered all our questions (even the daft ones) and made sure our transaction was processed as quick as possible and made sure we were kept in the loop with all the goings on! Excellent Recommendation

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Jennifer and Stephen at MOV8 Real Estate. Having been recommended their services by Mark from The Morgtage Geek I found all correspondence dealt with timeously and in a very professional manner. From the initial discussion with Stephen and the actual arrangements being made with Jennifer it all flowed seamlessly and was fully explained to us at every stage. Obviously due to covid restrictions we were unable to attend to sign the paperwork in person, however this was all carried out with ease over a zoom meeting. Would highly recommend them for Will/POA services and am going to use them to have my own updated also. So glad we went with the recommendation. Best wishes.

Book a viewing nightmare + unhelpful agents

I don't usually write reviews but making an exception for this particularly bad experience.For starters, trying to book viewings for property is quite a bit of a nightmare with MOV8. You will be sent an auto-respond email and be asked to fill up a lengthy form. If you're trying to view several properties, you will be sent the same lengthy form for each property you want to view. I had to explain to the agent that I've filled up the same form already, before they started asking my availability for viewing.There is one particular agent, by the name of Louise Carr, who is quite difficult to work with. I've been trying to book a viewing for 2b Casselbank Street, Leith since February 23. I have both phoned and sent emails. And she has been unhelpful. I have email logs to prove. I've also tried their websites 'Book a call' feature and the agent never phoned at the scheduled date and time.I have requested a solicitor's quote from MOV8, but now with a really poor experience, and having read all the other 1-star reviews, I'm definitely not going to get them as solicitors.

I'm buying my first home at the moment so this is an interim review of the process so far. Everything went quite smoothly and uncomplicated from the point I started the research on conveyancers to represent me on this matter. I got a very quick reply with a quote and general info about the procedure from Courtney Morrison (purchase negotiator) and 3 weeks down the line I have now an offer accepted for a flat. Courtney advised me with regards to pricing and feasible time expectations; I wouldn't say she held my hand through all this stage but she kept me informed and acted professionally and I appreciate this, especially in the current market conditions. I'm now looking forward in continuing the good and efficient working relation with the people from their law department.

Put your fears to one side

Myself and my wife were in a position where we were looking to buy a house and had 4 weeks to sell our flat. It would be an understatement to say that the lovely people at mov8 made this an experience I am no longer hesitant to go through once again in the future. From the stellar communication channels offered through their online portal and the outstanding levels of customer service delivered through human beings (Louise, Rosa, Suzanne & Rachel) it has made what i feared would be a very complicated, time consuming experience where i pictured myself staring into the abyss contemplating my choices into one of the best customer experiences I have ever encountered. Although 4 names are mentioned above, I was given a point of contact who managed the entire process of selling to a T. Louise was kind and considerate as well as clearly very experienced which was shown through her incredible advice and complete empathy. I will be dealing with this company again for sure! Working with Mov8 Real Estate has been seamless from start to finish. Tony carried out the valuation and was very professional, knowledgeable and reassuring about the sale of the property. The process of putting the property on the market was made very easy by the photographer and the rest of the team. A huge thank you to Jenny our property consultant who arranged our viewings and helped ensure we got a great offer on our property.
