I went with Mov8 because they have competitive fees compared to other fixed rate agents and they come across very professional. Another reason I chose them was because they have a large number of properties they are selling in Edinburgh so I thought they must be doing something right. I have had no problems during my experience with them and they have communicated well throughout the whole selling process and made selling my first property seem very easy.

Avoid if you want to sell your house

I've been trying to get a viewing for a house for the past 4 weeks! Initially the staff were very helpful and said they would get back to me ASAP to let me know about a suitable viewing for me - I was looking for evening/weekend. I got a phone call to let me know there would be a viewing for Thurs 10am. What use is this when I asked for a weekend or evening appointment?! Considering the majority of people work Monday to Friday days you wouldn't think this would be an issue. The woman said she would call me back with a suitable appt. I have never heard from Mov8 again. I had called the office several times to no avail, and was told I would receive a call back. End to end this was 4 weeks of trying to view a property. They can't arrange for people to view them?!?!

Our house was put on the market …

Our house was put on the market quickly, from home report to photos all went smoothly getting onto the ESPC. Aisling, who was in charge of dealing with our offers etc was in touch straight away and always responded quickly to correspondence, open flexible hours so we were able to hand in identification etc and meet with her personally. I found the texting to confirm viewing appointments very efficient when out and about at work etc much easier to reply to a text than a call. One slight negative was if someone called to arrange a viewing they didn't leave a voicemail so when calling back to the main line/ call centre ? I sometimes wasn't able to track who had called me or why. Left me wondering if we were missing viewings or not. Our house sold within four weeks and achieved a selling price way higher than we had anticipated. Fixed selling fees also great for budgeting at an expensive time. Overall extremely happy with service and would definately use Mov8 again in the future and recommend them to others.

First time I have used Mov8 and I found the service was excellent. From the initial contact right through to negotiating the sale (the legal work has yet to be concluded with Mov8 are also undertaking for me) I found the service and the staff to be professional, polite, efficient, friendly and the advice provided was excellent. The service they provide is comprehensive, more than I have had from a traditional conveyancing and marketing solicitor. The ability to pay part of the fees upfront and save some money was a good option to have and the pricing is very competitive. All in all a great service which I would be very happy to use again. I don't often leave reviews and this one is a genuine reflection of my experience.

Considering the distance between us and the solicitors geographically, between emailing,screenshots and posting paper work up the road it actually worked really well. It is a stressful time anyway selling a house and some of the legal jargon is tricky. On the whole I thought it went very well and all went through in time.

This was a good experience from the start. The valuation was carried out in a very professional manner with plenty of information on the current market. The photography of the flat was well presented in the advert. The system for arranging viewings worked well. When an offer was made, the conveyancer was helpful and good to communicate with.The sale is currently going through but I don’t anticipate any problems.

Having got several quotes for selling my property, Mov8 were the cheapest. However, despite the lower cost, their service was excellent. They are very sales orientated and this extends to selling the property. They were in constant communication, got the property to market very quickly and sold above market value within 7 days. They were excellent at arranging viewings and their online portal was excellent at keeping track of appointments and communication. Top class, modern experience!

Never used Mov8 before and didn’t know…

Never used Mov8 before and didn’t know anyone personally that had. Decided to use them to sell my house while they had a 25% off offer. I was kept fully informed throughout the process and really liked the online client login page where I could see all appointments and viewer feedback etc. Could also download all documents from there too if needed. Mov8 staff were all professional and courteous and knowledgeable and would definitely use them again.
