Review of MOV8 Real Estate Mov8 made selling my house so easy. Mov8 made selling my house so easy and hassle free. From giving advice about what information to put in the schedule and co-ordinating the Surveyor for the home report to the photographer who took the pictures. My Property Agent (Louise Carr) has been in contact constantly to keep me updated on feedback and has been very helpful as have the other staff during the whole process.

Dealing with Mov8

I asked 4 different estate agents to my house to present their case as why I should give them my business.The estate agent who stood head and shoulders above the other 3 for his professionalism and presentation and sincerity was Tony of Move8.Tony took time to explain the whole process of selling my house and the tools to do the job ,photographer,conveyancing and home report to putting up a for sale sign outside my property all done with absolutely no stress for me,so much so my house sold in one week.Thank you so much Move8. Excellent, easy and hassle free

Absolutely excellent service from start to finish.Initially met Alan at the property. Was expecting a very intense sales pitch with promises of a massively higher sales price. Wasn’t like that at all and I’m fact the valuation was very conservative. Compared to a popular online fixed fee selling agent, the meeting was much more professional and actually the fees worked out slightly cheaper and included ESPC listing which the online agency did not.Photography and home report was scheduled in at the same time for ease and listing went online quickly.Although selling a property can be nerve wracking, Louise (negotiator) explained everything well and kept me well informed at all stages.When a sale was agreed it was handed over to the legal team and I didn’t really hear anything until the last week and it was done very quickly with no hassles.Having purchased several properties I was very surprised at how simple the process was.Would absolutely recommend Mov8 as a selling agent and will be using their legal department for future purchases.

Sold in less than 48hrs and fantastic service throughout!

Our MOV8 experience was fantastic from beginning to end. From the moment we instructed MOV8 to sell our flat the communication excellent, with photos, home report, etc all being booked in at a convenient time. The marketing was ready super fast and looked great, and we were on the market well within the timeframe given at the start of the process. We received our first viewing request in a couple of hours and the property was sold for what we wanted less than 48hrs later!!!The legal side was professional and clear throughout with everything being explained clearly. Overall I'm delighted with MOV8 and I'd highly recommend them when selling a property!

Delighted with service!

Severe lack/delay in communications

Severe lack/delay in communications. Felt so let down and left in limbo. Took days to issue a home report and in order to request a viewing it’s mandatory to complete a questionnaire which some questions were too personal. Took a long time in responding to the a viewing request and to be told the viewings don’t start to the following week. Viewing booked only to then be emailed the day before viewing to be told that it’s been cancelled as an offer has been accepted yet was advised before the viewings didn’t begin till the viewing date. Very poor service.

Good selling process - conveyancing could have been better.

We were very happy with the selling part of the process. The online schedule and the photos were good. The organisation of viewings was smooth and straightforward and it all went very well - and we accepted a good offer.The conveyancing part of the process was not quite so good - limited communication and failure to follow final instructions accurately - which was irritating rather than disastrous, which it might have been!Frankly I suspect they are overworked with the person dealing with our sale having to juggle many balls.

Mov8 turns a potential nightmare into a straightforward and stress free event

From the moment I cantacted Mov8 regarding the sale of my property, I was impressed. They treated me as though I was their most important customer and speedily organised everything necessary to ensure a sale. The on-line work that was required went smoothly and easily and I had no problems with their user friendly system. The day after the For Sale sign went up, they called to say that someone wanted to view the property. I arranged a viewing for later that day and the following day they called to advise that an offer had been made. I was happy with the offer so they have now updated the status to "under offer". I hope that everything progresses as quickly as possible and that there are no setbacks.

I booked our valuation appointment on-line. The appointment was confirmed next morning via telephone. I was advised who would be coming to the valuation appointment. From then on every step of the process was explained, quote provided and no hard sales tactics. MOV8 arranged for the home report and there were a couple of options regarding financing the sale. We found MOV8 very staff very professional, no matter who you were dealing with.Received an offer on the property within 12 days. Took negotiators advice to think about the offer overnight and not rush into making a decision. The negotiator went over all the options available and let us make an informed decision.The next step of the process was explained and what team will look after the sale of the property.I would not hesitate to recommend MOV8.

We used Mov8 to sell our property. From beginning to end, our selling experience was positive. Although our first buyer pulled out prior to missives being signed (which was disappointing) our agent at Mov8 handled it with sensitivity and quickly put the property back on the market. Within a short time, another purchaser was found, although it was not without its glitches. Mov8 chased paperwork and made the entry date happen with hardly a moment to spare.During the process, whenever I emailed them, they always responded and were helpful in explaining things.I highly recommended Mov8. We had five different agents around to value our property before choosing Mov8. We chose them because they were very quick to gather feedback on a property we viewed and called us directly about that property. Not all estate agencies took the time to gather feedback, and speaking to someone in person was a nice touch. We like that they can handle every part of the buying and selling under one roof. We also had really friendly interactions with all of the staff at Mov8. We felt our negotiator, Emma, was really good at offering advice in dealing with offers, and we were very pleased at how quickly our property sold. We would not hesitate to use Mov8 again, or to recommend them.

they asked for feedback 3 times after property visit

We visited one of their properties this weekend and received an email for feedback shortly after. I answered the email with our feedback, but got a phone call on Monday morning to ask me for feedback again, then a second email asking for the same thing again before lunchtime.No idea what they're doing with provided feedback on house visits, but they clearly struggling to manage their information! Not good news for the property owner. Not impressed

Professional and caring service at every step. MOV8 made selling my home easy and supported me at every step. The property was popular and at times managing the numbers of viewers felt overwhelming. I’ve never sold a flat before, so I don’t have anything to compare to but it was really smooth with Mov8 from start to finish. Initial Valuation appointment: really well prepared and knew the market in our local area. Gave us confidence in our property and in Mov8. Admin: so user friendly and a modern approach, we could submit ID via our smartphones which is what we needed because we didn’t have time to travel in and wait to photocopy documents, Marketing and home report: as with the valuation, they just knew all the right things to highlight and take into account to showcase our property well and give a realistic account of the condition and value. Viewing Appointments: loved these guys, they got the right people viewing our property at times that worked for us. Negotiator: top marks. We knew what we wanted and they got us more because they had great advice and excellent negotiating experience.

Narrowed my choice of agents down to 3 when it came to selling my house and decided to try Mov8, especially as the had a 25% discount off fees in March. I liked the website and online customer portal where you can see all the activity, documents and appointments all in one place. Communication from Mov8 was superb and was kept fully informed throughout the process. Very happy with the whole experience so far and would definitely recommend them and use them again. All staff I dealt with were professional, knowledgable and friendly.
