Poor advice and valuation from the start. Unrealistic figures used for the sale which cost us £65k.Also some poor communications throughout the process. A few genuine staff trying their best but we feel they just wanted our money more than anything. Today a request for a further £20 payment after £10k plus says it all really. Try another agent.

Very professional, efficient and friendly service by the team at Mov 8. Once I decided to put my house on the market the team moved quickly to set up the photographer and surveyor followed by the marketing material. During this time I received comprehensive emails outlining the various stages in the process. Once the property went live I had a dedicated property consultant who kept in close touch with me by email and telephone calls where necessary. The online portal was particularly helpful in monitoring interest in the property, viewings and feedback. I was delighted when the property sold within a week at a price that exceeded my expectations.

Mov8 sold my 2 bedroom house for me on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Everything, even with covid and it’s restrictions, was only ever a phone call or email away. Valuations where simple and easily organised around our work commitments, photos where organised easily and extras photos taken (no extra charge) after we got hit by a snow fall so outside photos needed re done. sales staff where always on hand and prompt with replies or answering questions, and guided me through the entire process as it was all new to me. Would I sell a house with them again? Definitely

Really bad company do not buy a house from this company they will only get your hopes up. Our offer was accepted on Friday afternoon but then received an email 2 hours later that another offer came in and decided to go with their offer. This is unacceptable as they should not have been accepting any offers after ours was accepted absolutely disgrace that they did this. We had already told everyone and then felt stupid when we had to say that we hadn’t secured our house. DONT USE THIS COMPANY THEY HAVE NO MORALS AND JYST CARE ABOUT MAKING MONEY !!!

He has kept me informed, organised viewing appointments and answered all my questions with patience, empathy and good advice. I sold my flat receiving a chain free offer within five weeks of going up for sale online. The estate agent valuer Fraser Falconer has also been extremely positive, encouraging and helpful. Selling our property from afar, and during this most challenging of times, it was absolutely vital that we had someone like Jillian on side with her professional and dedicated - yet also reassuring and friendly - approach. Regular contact and conversation, and very quick and clear replies to our calls and emails helped to ensure the process was as clear and simple (for us) as possible. Yes, the marketing and selling of property is a business which requires professionalism - and there is certainly no doubt about MOV8s expertise in this regard - but our experience with Jillian and MOV8 is that they are also always conscious that, from the point of view of the client, it can also be a very personal undertaking - and making that as stress-free as possible certainly seems to be a key part of their approach. More broadly, the full range of services and support from MOV8 were delivered with the same combination of professionalism and thoughtfulness. Mov8 (Edinburgh) dealt with two house sales and one purchase on my behalf over a year of national uncertainty. From the initial contact to the final correspondence, they have been excellent. Always helpful, whether by email or phone. Accessable, friendly and efficient. The marketing team done an outstanding presentation for my flat, resulting in a offer within 3 days. Alan, from purchasing, was patient and efficient. I was especially impressed with the conveyancing team and Gordon in particular: a situation arose out with our control, which caused a certain amount of stress. Gordon constantly kept us updated and reassured at all hours. I have been left with the impression that the staff of Mov8 are friendly, professional, efficient and very committed to their company.
