Having recently sold my property using MOV8, I would highly recommend them. Their communication to keep me updated was excellent, particularly as I was out of the country most of the time. Using their own solicitors for conveyancing was convenient and helpful. Both the estate agency and the legal side provided a person who was responsible for my property and I felt able to contact them at any time. Their patience was impeccable! The overall package tied everything together which was efficient and cost effective. Well done, MOV8!

GoogleHad a recent purchase of a property in Edinburgh with Mov8. There was a bit of hiccups and miscommunication with my first case manager. When Tara-Mae Kearns took over, it went like a breeze. Very professional and helpful. She is a star. Got the keys in time. Overall, it was a good experience.

The quality of service we received was really high and our contacts, Maryanne & Mairi, were incredibly friendly and helped us throughout the process. A good level of customer service from start to finish, from the initial home visit/valuation to speaking with the estate agent dealing with the sale and then onto the legal team to complete the sale. The whole process took a longer than usual timescale but that was due to external factors and no fault of Mov8. When each of the external issues were highlighted Mov8 were, on every occasion, quick to respond by email and phone to address the issues and provide positive guidance when required. Not only do the three different elements of Mov8 work well individually, they also work well as a team to provide a great overall customer experience.

We have sold two properties with Mov8 and although we did have some issues while selling the first property the second time round was an excellent experience. Our point of contact Alexandra Bell was so good and made the process extremely easy. I would definitely recommend Mov8 now.

This solicitor was ridiculously overpriced, we were overcharged a stupid amount for a solicitor who wasn’t qualified and still a trainee - he wanted more money than the average qualified solicitor!!! Within our rights of buying a house, we were allowed to report issues within 5 days. We found multiple issues and reported these within 2 days of getting the keys. When acting upon these issues, the solicitor then wants more money and to charge us for the additional service??? I was within the time frame of reporting these issues therefore I would expect the solicitor to help resolve these free of charge. They are soooo money driven and not professional at all. If you want robbed blind with no guidance or professional help, choose this company!

We found MOV8 very friendly, approachable and efficient and they were always available to answer any questions or concerns that we had, no matter how small. We found that Mairi in particular (paralegal) at MOV8 was extremely helpful and always got back to us very quickly (something that was very important to us when buying a new house which can be stressful). Mairi certainly made this less stressful for us and we cannot thank her enough :).Would definitely recommended MOV8 for selling and going onto buying a new build house. Brian and Laurie.

GoogleOur property sale using Mov8 was back in June last year, but recently tried to offer on a house through them and was reminded of the poor service levels received. We had a lot of initial interest from buyers which we expected, but they all seemed to fizzle out without being able to be spoken to. When I tried to contact them, my nominated person was never available, I’d be told she’d ring me once she’d finish her call, 4,5 or 6 hours would go by. If I happen to miss the call, even ringing back a few minutes later would mean it is another long wait for the call back again. Days go by trying to communicate for such simple things. There were so many things I could complain about with them, but ultimately I blame myself for going with the cheapest, they cost me at least 10k on the sale price. Trying to offer is the same, takes 2 days to hear that someone else has offered higher so it’s a no. They don’t even let you know it’s being considered. I assumed it had been rejected and I had been forgotten about so moved on to other houses. They’re essentially a call centre. Their reason for not calling back during the day was that they’re speaking to solicitors etc who are only available during the day. They have a nasty habit of calling a few minutes before closing, so if you miss it they’re closed when you ring back, and do another day passes. I could go on and on.......

GoogleI completed a sale and purchase with Mov8, I found it helpful to have both aspects managed together. The team who delt with advertising were brilliant and I achieved an above valuation sale which I was delighted with. The conveyancing was patiently managed and each step was explained. I found the journey with Mov8 seamless and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
