GoogleAVOID AT ALL COSTS! I wish I could give this company zero stars because my experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, everything was a disaster, yet I foolishly ignored the glaring red flags. We were in the process of both selling and buying a property, and to kick things off, they provided us with the wrong quote for both transactions. How does a professional solicitor company mess that up? This alone should have been enough to steer us away, but we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Communication? Non-existent! It felt like each team member was operating in their own personal bubble, completely detached from the rest of the office. I can’t stress enough how disorganized and chaotic their process is. We received an offer on our property, and instead of the timely communication one would expect, we had to call them at the end of the day, and this was when it was confirmed to us. Imagine our frustration all day not knowing! It felt like we were left in the dark while they fumbled around cluelessly. The exact same thing happened when we bought a place. The property we liked and submitted an offer on went under offer on the website. We thought someone else’s offer got accepted. Called them up 24 hours later to ask only to find out it was our offer that was accepted! Honestly, they are a clueless bunch of cowboys! It’s hard to even call them professionals. Their lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and total disregard for their clients’ needs were astonishing at every stage. To top it all off, after nearly a year of dealing with their incompetence, they had the audacity to charge £2000 from our account for a subscription fee that we never agreed to. This felt like the final straw in an already exhausting ordeal. I can’t believe a company this irresponsible and unprofessional is even allowed to operate. They should be banned! I’m guessing cause we signed the form to allow them to take money from our bank they can take any amount they want. The firm lasts for 12 months. Don’t sign that form! My advice? Save yourself the headache and STAY AWAY from this company at all costs. It’s not worth the stress and frustration. You deserve better!

MOV8 had been great throughout my sale process. Very professional and keeping me updated every step of the way, I also received positive feedback from people viewing the house about their experience in arranging a viewing.The sales photos/package that MOV8 put together was impressive, I loved the virtual tour, which is something I wasn’t really keen on to begin with given my experience viewing other homes this way. Ruairidh, Jamie, and Ben at MOV8 were very helpful, regular contact and offered some great advice. A real plus point is not having to deal with a separate solicitor for conveyancing, this really has been smooth so far and I can highly recommend, they are also looking after my purchase too!

We had a great experience with Mov8 selling our property, especially the conveyancing with Leah McGibbon who acted with professionalism, care and assertiveness throughout. This was especially appreciated as we had problematic buyers intent on messing us around. Our queries were answered promptly and thoroughly.I'm using them to buy a proper now and will be using them to sell another property later this year. Having used other solicitors last year who were slow and probably cost us a sale, I'm really pleased with how efficient the Mov8 team have been. The property market in Scotland can be a torturous and frustrating journey at times and things can be lost in translation leading to misunderstandings. Given my experience with other solicitors, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mov8.

After a really bad experience with another Solicitor that delayed the purchase of our new house, we were pretty anxious about changing to another firm. I’m so glad we did. Everyone we spoke to at Mov8 was so helpful, they instantly put as at ease. Our case manager was Alan and he was really efficient and great at communicating. Everything he said he would do, he done. And every time we had a question he was always available to chat to us. Would definitely recommend. My only regret is that we didn’t go with Mov8 in the very beginning. Lesson learnt.

Really disappointed by the agency as I had booked a viewing by no one showed up. I had to phone twice the office only to be told that they couldn't get a hold of the owner and no one knew if he was coming to show me around or not.The agency is responsible to call the owners on time and let them know early on the day that they have a viewing booked , and if anything, let the potential buyer know in advance so no one is wasting their time.I've never recieved an apology for my 20min wait or for the cancellation.
