Wonderful service

Rachael Cassidy dealt with our sale and purchase and she was fantastic. She kept us up to date every step of the way. There were a number of headaches from the sellers solicitors side however Rachael was able to keep everything on track and got us over the line. They also have an app which keeps you up to date with the ongoing process. I found all the staff to be very helpful and courteous. Brilliant First Sale Experience

Genuinely had a brilliant experience with Mov8 from the minute Alan (salesman) came to view our property and give an indicative valuation and telling us more about the sales process as this was our first house sale. From this point to engaging Mov8 to act as our agent, Alan was always just on the end of the phone to have a quick word or pass some questions past, mostly things I was just unsure about and needed some reassurance re. the process etc.Getting the property to market was very quick and efficient with photographers and surveyors booked in and lined up with ease using Mov8.When the property went on to the market, Aisling was senior negotiator for the sale and she was brilliant again with advising and making us aware of options open to us at different stages of marketing the property (viewings, advice on engaging with viewers etc). Her professional and polite manner made the experience enjoyable and unstressful knowing she was always available and easily contactable.

Excellent service goes a long way.

Having purchased my flat some 14yrs ago and never having sold a property before, I can safely say I was lost as to how and where to start, my plan was to look around at companies and see what my options were, I didn't look past mov8, the service from the team was second to none, from keeping me updated, to talking me through each step in a way I could understand.Everything was organised with efficiency and ease, and once on the Market, my negotiater, Nicky Wilkinson was excellent, regular calls, checking in on how my viewings were going and overall showed a genuine interest in getting the best for me. I have used Mov8 twice in the last 3 years. Both times I used them to sell my property and buy the next property. Maeve McDade was brilliant in particular on both occasions. Mov8 have a dedicated team of staff members that have helped me through various stages of buying and selling. What I really liked was being able to pick up the phone and speak to the person assigned to my case or in their absence, someone else that could deal with query. All in all, I would highly recommend them and be sure to use them in the future.

When I was getting quotes from other local estate agents they warned me: “even if you use Yopa for selling your house, you should still use a local solicitor for conveyancing.” I ignored this advice and took the risk and, excepting some issues outwit the control of MOV8, it went very well. Tara-Mae at the Edinburgh office must be praised in particular for being attentive and responsive throughout the sale and onward purchase. I only deduct one star because you mustn’t be fooled by Yopa’s estimate for MOV8’s fees. Whilst MOV8 are fixed-price and (in solicitor terms at least) quite fair, there will inevitably be complications in a house move that will increase the end invoice. But they’re still better value than any local solicitor though, and with great customer service. Very highly recommended.

Mov8 have been really good at keeping me informed in advance of property viewings and without any issues, updates to the listing quickly when needed. Whilst it took longer than expected to sell my property, this has been due to the summer months being a bit slower. It was particularly helpful having Kai set realistic expectations to buyers and securing the best price for the property. Kai also showed his genuine excitement when we secured an offer which made me feel valued as a client. Ruairidh and Hannah have also been extremely helpful. I’m looking forward to concluding the sale with Mov8 and communication amongst the team has been great.

Earlier this year, I approached MOV8 regarding the sale of my flat located at the Shore in Leith, Edinburgh. I met with the Property Surveyor and was immediately impressed with his friendly demeanor, professional approach and knowledge of the market, both locally and nationally. The team at MOV8 proved to be fast and efficient, with regular communication to keep me informed of progress. All compulsory checks and associated paper work were expedited promptly and the team took time to talk me through each stage of the process. Staff efficiency and good communication were pivotal to a quick sale. Within 6 days of my flat going on the market, I received a number good offers on my property, which certainly enhanced my overall satisfaction! Not one of my friends wanted to recommend a lawyer to me when buying my first home, as they all didn’t have good experiences, I was giving MOV8s details from my mortgage advisor and just took the chance. However, I can confidently say I would recommend MOV8 to my friends and family now, everything went so smoothly.
