The McEwan Fraser service was outstanding from start to finish. I met with several Estate Agents before deciding on MF, however, it wasn't a difficult decision as Jay Stein was by far the most professional and enthusiastic. He left me in no doubt that my Mums house would sell at a good price. I was selling my Mums property on behalf of my siblings so their message board was an excellent service, keeping us all up to date with developments. The Viewing Agent, Sandra Lindsay, was excellent! Her knowledge and enthusiasm was a key factor to the quick sale of the house. Our Property and Marketing Consultant, Emma Duff, was also excellent!!! She kept me up to date with developments and was sensitive to the emotional ties in selling our family home. Their position as market leaders speaks for itself, selling my Mums house in just over 4 weeks. I can't praise McEwan Frasers' service and staff enough!!!!!!!!

Very happy with the service received from Lauren Duffus who was dealing with our sale. After a bad experience with a high street estate agents it was daunting to come up against another estate agent, however Lauren made this a very smooth process. We were kept up to date on a regular basis and even though there was perhaps nothing to update us on she always called to have a chat and check everything was ok at our end. Lauren has always been keen to help and in the end we were happy with the overall result. We would recommend McEwan and Fraser Legal and in particular I felt our agent was fantastic.

I can't speak highly enough of McEwan Fraser Legal and especially Graeme Nimmo who was the consistent and professional contact during my sale. FIRST CLASS! At such an emotional, stressful and sometimes confusing time, the service provided by ALL staff was superb. By providing an often out of hours, very structured, personalised, professional and empathic problem free insight into the process I was consistently kept in the loop. I would highly recommend them. I would like to thank Nigel and AnneMarie for all the work they done on our Sale and Purchase, our move would not have been possible without them! When the going got tough they got tougher. It was challenging but they got through it and worked to their best capability and beyond to get our sale completed in time for us to finally move in to our new home, which was nail biting as it was literally down to the last minute! I used McEwan Fraser Legal for the sale of my house and purchase of the new one. I bought into the value proposition rather than going for cheapest is best. I liked the online dashboard in terms of keeping me up to date on things. I thought that initially the quality of the wording on the schedule could have been better, however this was quickly updated and the property was put onto the market quickly. I liked the fact MFL staff are friendly and managed the process professionally. In particular, Anne MacKintosh did a great job and it was great to get a successful sale within 6 weeks or so. The other staff at MFL were also excellent, including Anna who answered all my questions and successfully concluded the sale. I was extremely happy with the whole process and would have no hesitation in using MFL again or to refer friends. Quality is a price worth paying for.

I was directed to McEwan Fraser through a friend. Sandrina our local agent visited my cottage and explained the service McEwan Fraser offered. I found their package although a little more expensive was very innovative, with an emphasis to online marketing which I was convinced is the future for estate agency. I found other Agencies are not taking this seriously enough and so I chose to work with McEwan Fraser. I had a beautiful cottage to sell but Sandrina was invaluable at highlighting a few areas I could improve the presentation of my cottage for photography and viewings. I embraced the whole process and took all the advice given, after all I wanted the best price I could get for my home. Once advertised I was delighted with the response and the very many viewings made. The team at the head office who manage all the appointments are very efficient, with their office open to midnight all week and ten oclock at the weekend. I was amazing to be organising viewing appointments at all hours. Several viewers commented how quickly the team had dealt with their enquiry and set up their appointment. Within weeks I had several offers and accepted one. Sadly the sale fell through only two weeks prior to completion. Once again Sandrina and Anne (my negotiator at head office) jumped to action with sympathy for my situation but with a positive energy and enthusiasm to get the cottage sold again. Anne was terrific at keeping me informed and up to date with negotiations and seems to have a relentless energy to communicating with all parties and securing a new buyer. Within days we had secured another offer higher than the one I had accepted previously and am delighted to say I have now completed on the transaction. The path to selling a home is stressful but the team at McEwan Fraser did everything and more. I am happy to recommend their service.

Not impressed! Was desperate to view a property: was told at the time a few people were interested but I could see it. Waited on a call-back for an appointment in vain; called again, waited for a call-back; my sister phoned and was informed there was possibility of two offers being submitted but they would call her back, yep you guessed - no call; I then called only to find there was no more viewings and an offer was more than likely to be accepted... this occurred over 6 days.

Although more expensive than others, I felt the service offered excellent value for money. After being with another agency for over a year with no success, I changed agencies in the hope of a quick sale. I wasn't disappointed - my property sold 4 weeks after going live. The service I received was first class. The other agency was very "hands off" (I had very little contact) but the team kept me updated every step of the way, whether it was via calls or emails. I also liked the online dashboard (again, well worth the extra cost), which allowed me to keep track of activity, 24/7. I'd also like to give a special mention to the design and photography department - the photos were stunning, one viewer even commented that the property looked like a show home in the brochure! The quality of the brochures was high and, again, better than what I had received before. Everything was taken care for me (I also elected for the agency to take care of my legal work), it was an easy and stress free experience. To top it all off, I accepted an offer that was £2.5k over the home report value! I cannot recommend the service enough, I will definitely be a repeat customer!

Excellent communication, access, response time, and flexibility - far superior to other estate agents we have experienced. We needed to relocate to the far end of the UK, and had to leave the property behind, which was highly stressful, but once we moved to McEwan Fraser and got past the uncertainty of the referendum, we turned a corner, and the viewings started coming in, culminating in a sale just before Christmas (very well timed for what Santa was going to be bringing the kids). Particular thanks to Hannah Nicol, but in general the whole team was very efficient and the piece of mind and professionalism well worth the extra cost.

Our overall experience of MFL has been fantastic! Our adviser Diane Kerr was great, she came and saw us for our initial appointment and was very professional and really friendly. Any questions we had (we had quite a few) she answered quickly, either by email or phone. Diane was available to us pretty much all day every day as MFL are open until midnight. Our property went live online on a Friday afternoon and we had viewings booked for the Sunday and Monday. Our home is now under offer and this took less than a week to achieve. We were really impressed with the photographs of our home along with the wording of the schedule which painted a really lovely picture of our home and surrounding area. We believe that these were a major factor which influenced the early viewings. All in all I would highly recommend Mcewan Fraser Legal to anyone who is looking to sell their house. They have been very professional with every aspect regarding the sale of our home.

We sold our home through Mcewan and Fraser and were very happy with the serviced received. The Valuer was friendly and professional and gave great advice. We then received advice on how to best dress out property for the photos and we were not disappointed as the brochure and internet pictures were very impressive and made ours stand out from other properties. We particularly liked the message board as we could see at anytime of day if their had been any progress. We had a person for a point of contact and were able to speak to them whenever we phoned. This was the first time we had bought and sold a house at the same time we used Mcewan and Fraser for both and felt it was stress free as Mcewan and Fraser dealt with everything.

After trying to book a viewing over a period of 2-3 weeks for the one day I could view whilst in scotland, internet, email and calls. Finally I was told their viewing agent was not responding and they would try and contact them on the Monday I had been requesting xnd co.e back to me. Booked an appointment for a viewing. I had a missed call from McEwan Fraser a few days later (no voicemail left) and as was away on business didn't return the call till the following day. When I returned the call the person on the phone said there was no appointment, and was rude in tone as if we must have made the mistake and that we hadn't booked anything, or were chancing our luck? So why the missed call previous? Very unprofessional, obviously messed up but couldn't admit it and gave no apology for disrupting our now disrupted day. Would not use.

Lewis delivered an excellent service and always responded immediately. However, the initial brochure was not at the standard expected and this took several versions to resolve. We also felt the photographer did not use any initiative in trying to produce pictures to show rooms at their full potential and we even resorted to using a picture taken by myself on an iphone. Our property was then marketed with an incorrect link taking viewers to a different location. Lewis did however act swiftly in resolving each of these issues. Another issue then arose at the offer stage, however we were advised that the error was not on the part of McEwan Fraser so there was not much to be done about it. We just had to accept what had happened. This was particularly frustrating as it resulted with a financial implication on us (as innocent parties)and we do feel that had every party involved acted with a little more care and attention this error could have been avoided. Had it not been for the actions of Lewis in trying to resolve issues the whole experience would have been very negative.
